Here is the X-Ray, if anyone can give me any insight to whether or not these hips will pass OFA or SV?  What do you think of the placement of the hips...to me it doesnt look like his left was sitting right.  Thanks

That left hip will not pass :(
The ball does not sit securely in the socket.  Socket is shallow and ball appears to be smaller than the ball on the other side.
The other ball and socket look pretty good, except I think the ball looks slightly roughened on it's bottom half, I may be wrong but it looks that way too me.

He may pass PennHip if his tendons are tight enough, but judging from the left side I doubt they are.  Even if he did pass PennHip he just does not have breeding worthy hips.

What age was he when this xray was taken?

I also agree that the left hip will not pass. I am sorry and I know that's a hard blow to take. Keep him/her as active as possible and you will still have a happy pet.

Agreed.. Will not pass. :o(  Keep him well exercised and weight slim. Glucosamine & MSM if he shows symptoms and keep him going. Doesn't mean he can't train & compete if that's what your plan is. Just not breedable.

will not pass, but the way the pelvis is turned (the reason the left ball looks smaller than the right) does not help, makes the right hip look "better" and the left "worse" than they probably really are.  I'd get new x-rays done with a different vet - make sure the  positioning is much straighter and with knees turned in, could make a difference between passing or not.
