How many times are we going to hear the "trying to put a good man down" story?
Al has been appropriately sanctioned for the voice messages he left on the MSSV members phones.
He has not been held responsible for falsely accusing his former club members of stealing Hex or allowing his surrogates to do it for him.
I'm reading and listening to ALL the information. Including the Henry County Sherifs report and the interviews given to the local media. Saying he hasn't made any posts is deceptive. The stories of drugging and beaten to death with a baseball bat were LIES. The claim that Hexs body was somehow kept hidden and only dropped in the ditch 400 feet from the house 2-3 weeks later was a lie. The promises to release the final lab tests and necropsy and toxicology and private investigator reports showing some kind of foul play have all been  attempts to keep the money coming in.
Where's the reward money, when there is no crime? What happened to the plan to return the money or donate it to an appropriate charity or establish a memorial fund.?

I've seen a years worth of nasty posts, false accusations. threats of violence and lots and lots of excuses. Still waiting for an apology or an admission of wrong doing.

For someone that indicates that he is "Listening and Reading it all" you are blind as well as deaf.

Don't hide behind a user name. Tell people who you are  and your relationship with Al
This is your first post in over a year and all your previous posts were on the Stolen Dog (Hex) topic

That's what somebody else told me too. I was wondering if any of the Govednik Groupies were going to fess up or keep hiding behind user names pretending they're neutral in this whole Hex Hoax.

Thomas:

Again... Why are you and your ilk SO worried about monies you never donated to? I see some jealousy and loathing going on ? Did someone not run and help you when you needed it ? Did no one help you look for a dog you owned after it ran away or disappeared?. I have read sworn testimony here and abroad that people even police early on walked that same stretch of road at the beginning of the search and there was no dog there?. So it seems strange to me first it wasn't then latter it was. I,m not claimg to be the Great Carnack(i.e. Johnny Carson)  but it is still disturbing. So i,m still willing to allow the issue to be resolved (and i did donate monies) so if you did,nt stop worrying about it.

You boys keep trying to hook the "Hex" Issue with the recent UScA  sanctions and it isn,t  gonna fly ! The issue of Al losssing his cool finally was that after your ilk drug his martial issues and finally his personnel banking information and spread it all over the internet he lost his cool ! understandable so. If that would of been me your least worry would of been going to court.

If your SO worried about integrity maybe the integrity of the other side of issue needs addressed then with the folks filling the claims ! Has anyone done any background work on them? people that represent a full member club in UScA ? Are there any felony issues that should be considered for office holders oh lets say. Are there any Check deception issues? Prescription fraud issue? large outstanding monitory issues judgments? If you and your friends are SO compelled to bring good character to the for front(which is a noble cause) maybe you could turn your eagle eyes to that issue for us?

Bob,

We're talking about a UScA judge and President of the AWDF..  I would hope a little higher standard would be expected?
It doesn't matter who donated money. It's about Al Govednek (UScA Judge and AWDF President) soliciting money under
false pretenses.

Of course the MSSV club credit card and the Hex Hoax are connected. The threatening and obscene phone calls came after he left the club but before Marcia filed the abuse/ domestic violence charges. I'm guessing they've reconciled since GSDMom56 is now posting support  again?
I've never seen any personal financial information about Al. When and where is that supposed to have happened?

Please post the "sworn testimony" that the body wasn't where it was found and explain how there were signs of decomposition on the ground if he was moved there after the fact?

Nothing is stopping you from doing a back ground check on anyone you want. I'm sure if you GG's (Govednik Groupies) had of found anything we all would have heard about it a long time ago?

If you guys want an end to the   Hex Hoax controversy? Then provide an accounting of the reward fund as promised. Release the necropsy and toxicology and private investigator reports as promised. Quit making excuses and bringing up totally unrelated heresay and rumors especially about people that had nothing to do with any of this

My gosh, opened pedigree database for the first time in a year to reat this disturbing post -  what does this bring to the table to help bring about positive change?

While I have not been involved with Schutzhund for a number of years, Jim Engel, I do remember you well enough and took the time to read your personal essays.   What do you actually hope to accomplish?

I have known Al from nearly 15 years back.  I have not seen Schutzhund judges or sportscompetitors for some time as I have my own work interest.    I am truly saddened to see these fights for power or whatever one wants to call it.    My contact in the past showed a sincere sports ethics that emulated why people join an organization.   The gentlemen who handled my dogs always spoke highly of Al too along with many many others - most now deceased.  Heavens knows there were and always will be plenty of differences of opinion.  That is the nature of humans anyway.
But in this arena, why should competion be about beating up the other competitor.   Isn't it about YOUR performance?   My last visit to a trial was the WUSV in Kentucky.  Sadly there too were groups of people who stayed so divided and would not collaborate or acknowledge another group.   egads. . .

And who - please oh please tell me who has never been guilty of loosing their temper.

This internet bashing is an  unfortunate mar for our industry and sport.  What do I tell those who buy my dogs who want to get involved in the sport?  PSA isn't much better right now.

Thank goodness we still have John Nussbaum and a few other old faithfuls still around.

And so my purpose - I hope this brings to light the tremendous distraction from what should be an industry that should be based on real sportsmanship, ethics and integrity.

I'll take the time to write a thank you letter to all of those who stumbled, picked themselves up and moved on to do something productive and worthwhile.  You've earned it.

Cheers

Nancy Rhynard

Thomas, you keep saying it, but it doesn't make it true--WHEN and WHERE did Al Govednik EVER  solicit  so much as a single penny from anyone in regard to the loss of his dog Hex?  People unrelated to the man, as far as I could tell, could be said to have done so, but what of it--it's not illegal, and if someone chose to donate to a reward or expense fund, it was of their own free will, and none of your business.  I really cannot understand WHY you have such an axe to grind on that particular note--it really does seem to cause you to break out in hives that other people were willing to open their wallets to somebody they never met, and frankly, that seems rather pathologic on your part.

[Full disclaimer: I've NEVER met, or even so much as laid eyes upon, don't have a dog from, have never benefited nor lost anything from or because of, am not related to in any capacity, or in any real or imagined fashion could be labeled as a 'groupie', 'fan', 'friend' or even a passing acquaintance, ANYONE from the Govednik family, nor THEIR friends or families.]
