Red Sable

by Red Sable on 03 May 2011 - 23:05

As for Dallas, I don't like his pasterns ( they look a little weak) and his rear angulation is still more than I like.

I also agree with Ibrahim on that dogs shoulder.

Quanto has always been a heart throb of mine.  I just wish they had stood him a little different so I could see his rear better.  He looks pretty much perfect to me, the only thing I'd change is I'd add some  hair to his genitals. indecision

I am really not trying to be ornery, but I fail to see how your average Am line dog can be called "sound" in any way. Did someone miss the memo that explained that feet and TOES were meant to make contact with the ground and not hocks?

I actually sold a dog to the best friend of the woman who imported Lance. She asked me not to hold it against her, lol. Needless to say, she's now moved waaaay away from that type. The pup I sold her was very nice WGR working lines w/a splash of DDR.

I still say my all time favorite is my dog;-)

RS, isn't that creepy when they shave that???  OMG; I was horrified one time when a groomer did that to Caleb. She was a lovely blond or I'm sure he would've protested, but yikes, it was awful and creepy. She thought she was "cleaning him up." I have since requested that nothing but shampoo and water comes within ten feet of my dog in my absence.

Do they shave them Jenni?  I've seen some pretty hairless dogs down there, and I honestly thought they were like some men, you know, the kind with no hair on their legs and just a few nipple hairs. laugh

I have noooo idea about hair elsewhere. blush

Why would anyone shave them, that is just gross.

Hmmm, you call those "men"? LOL

I always thought they shaved them, especially after it happened to my dog, who is by all accounts quite masculine. ;-)

My sentiments exactly!  There we go, thinking alike again.

Marin

Current dogs I think we'll look back on...  Marin and Olek are two of my favorite working line dogs, who
seem to be producing both excelent balanced temperament and beautiful conformation.

I agree;  all are beautiful.  Thanks for sharing pic's.  Nan

I don't know what the name of the sable male prager posted on here was. Never seen him work (unlikely prager would have posted him if he was a dud) but i think he is my favorite dog of all time.  I saw him and it was love at first sight.

I didn't actually understand after reading the first post if this was meant to mean yorur all time favorite of YOUR own dogs, or all time favorite of dogs you admire from afar. I actually sat and thought about it and couldn't come up with any "favorites" other than my own. There are dogs I like very much, would breed to, would have liked to meet, but not "favorites" like my own. smiley

I can honestly say that there really aren't any that I admire from afar that I would rather have than my own. The more dogs I think I like and then I meet them one day, the more I love and appreciate my own. heart

This agreeing with Daryl thing has to stop. While that's a fine looking specimen, Daryl, I must say mine is better! cheekydevil
