That's odd, cause i've trained with him and he's a pretty nice person. and I've seen him do helper work, but i think he realizes he needs to learn more to be THE guy doing the protection work so he probably didn't want to misrepresent himself more than anything, and I don't know why he wouldn't show his obedience with his rottie, she does some good obedience, especially for a breed not known for flashy ob work.

Would be the end of the subject for me too. If this man has no personal patience with a client and doesn't have manners to talk on phone , then tells me all I need to know.
How you talk to a woman or man on a phone trying to answer your advertisement is the way to the mans success. Free attitude in place. Alot of dog trainers come off rude but they are proven in their field and do not advertise for customers who depend on you proving your worth before you get to be the one who ruins or improves my dog
