You mean this model?? http://www.dogtrastore.com/2502tb.html   The one that says precise stimulation level 0-127?

yes

by Duderino on 29 July 2011 - 03:07

Actually, no e-collars have been used on the dogs in the video, just good old fashioned training, thousands of repetitions.

Yes, the beep function only was use but stimulation function no.

Should I say: Oooops? Sorry Dragon, but those are e-collars; just with a beeper function commonly used in field work with pointers. Also, your statement that the dogs have been thaught to come to the beep cant be right as the collar beeps on the dog. So unless he straps it around his own neck, its the dog thats beeping.

No oops, just because a function is there it isn't used. You want to find fault with me fine.

The sound of the beep the dog comes to the handler. ( corrected my wording ok)

The video is ment to help people and that is it's function.

by Duderino on 29 July 2011 - 03:07

The page, or beep is used simultaneously with the stimulation in the teaching phase and progresses to just the page/beep as a reminder.  C'mon you're fudgin' us here but when you use electric to take short cuts, the dogs come out looking like the dogs on the video, afraid to make a mistake.

I don't like fudge. You like being indecorous, I'm good with that.

The bottons are on different sides of the device. You can't used both at the same time
as we tested that idea and it just shuts down the device.

The dogs may not look like highly driven sport dogs, because they are not.
