She is 2 years old, her food is Natural Balance, Not the best but doesnt have chicken in it. She doesnt take any kind of medication, about three months ago I was giving her 1/2 tablets of benadryl for her alergies as directed by a vet and decided to take away the alergan all togerther. So currently she does not take any meds. I dont feed her bones and she doesnt go far enough outside to read a stick to eat wood. Her poop is brown and hard, not runny no funny odor, We do not have access to berries around where I am, once again she isnt outside far enough to reach the bush. I don't have anyother type of animal, I have two dogs. She seems to be getting her nutriance from her food, she never vomits her food and it never comes out in her stool, she has a runny stoll once in a while but only when I bring her to my mom, she likes to try the other dog food. And she does not have access to grass at the moment we are covered in snow, it is very cold outside so she isnt even out long enouh to dig to get to the grass as she freezes when she goes out. I believe I covered everyones questions. If you have any more please go ahead and ask. I just want to know whats going on with her, all the help is apprechiated!

any body who replies is only going to be able to guess, without seeing the dog there is no way of knowing.  Too many possibilities.  Wait till you get to your vet today, but do come back and let us know what the vet says.  It would be educational for many.

thank you

If the bowels are behaving normally, that confirms my suspicions we are likely dealing with a stomach problem. I think the vet will likely do an x-ray, then possibly scope the stomach (gastroscopy).

My guess is either an ulcer or cancer, or maybe something trapped in the stomach. I remember a GSD police dog that seemed to have a really finicky stomach. When they x-rayed him for some other problem, they found he'd been carrying a tennis ball around in his stomach for YEARS!  Omg Smile

Back from the vet,
He put her on a special diet nd ran some blood work. Will have the results tomorrow, he thiks she might have pancreaitis. She is running a high fever today, 104.9. They wanted to keep her there but decided it best that she comes home. shes resting now licking her booboo from the needle.

test came back normal, the vet provided medication and it has stoped her vomitting. Still dont know what caused it, vet is unsure but is certain that she is in no danger.

glad to hear - I would switch the food to a holistic brand and try out different varieties to see if it is an allergic reaction of some kind...
