Hi,
yes, true, no more Koerkl 1 or 2 since 2012, but still courage test.  And dogs have to release and heel off leash to the blind, like at the Siegershow.  I think it doesn't really make any difference because now at least the Koermeister can give a more honest Koer report, no trying to give a dog a Koer report that sort of tries to leave out the faults because he has to justify the Koerkl 1, now he can give a correct description of the dog.  And lifetime stays as it was.

trixx, at least at this very moment, there is still KKL1, KKL2, and "lbz".  I saw all three yesterday (two re-surveys and five first timers including my dog).  I was told my KKL1 is good for 2013-2014 at which time I could re-survey for life.

Still KKL for 2 years and KKL life. No more KKL1 or KKL2, even if it is USCA breed survey only. The new rules have been in effect since 1/1/2012.

thanks, i really think this is a very intresting subject, well come next year when i do my boy first KKL i will know, yes i go under USCA , but i did email the SV to make sure the judge is excepted with the SV, i wont go under Johanne till next year cause right now his KKL are not excpeted in Germany as he is in probation  period till next year. his  titles are fine though.  i would liked to  been at the Indy show, my trainer had my boy at the trial not sure if he pass. as i was not there.

vonrika I was at a USCA event and they handed out KKL1 and KKL2.  One dog got a G rating and KKL2 because of a missing tooth, another dog got SG and KKL2 because of something with his rear (not a DQ fault or anything that should stop him from breeding but not as good as it could b I guess).  My understanding was that this was not happening any more but in reality it still is...
