Abby Normal

by Abby Normal on 19 April 2012 - 09:04

My corgi mix didn't have corgi legs LOL, just the ears and beautiful face! She was a middle size dog.

When I say the ear set, I am looking at the space on the top of the head between the inside edges of the ears. If you made them erect, I think they would still have to sit out at a 'corgi' type angle. Agree admin, ears are possibly being held in a submissive position too, so may come up a bit.

My GSDs will have 'donkey' ears in some situations, but they don't have that much space between the ears if you know what I mean!

I also don't see spitz.

I think he's lovely :)

If you are in the position to RESCUE him, please do. Obviously something about him is calling out to you. Even if he's not purebred. After all,"ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN". If he don't fit in,place him in a new home.

Or, if you are in a position to rescue or know someone who is, how about poor Sadie, the GSD beaten with a chain?

Abby, I thought for sure someone would have taken Sadie. If that poor girl is in need of a forever home, I will take her in a heartbeat, and love the hell out of her. I' m going to revisit that thread right now. THAT is one heartbreaking story.

3 points and then I move on, I see I am getting made fun of on another thread so here goes. Look at the size of the feet that says a lot and I have a full black female with a wider ear set than normal plus the age is a guess this puppy could very well be 5 months for all we know.  More ammo for the people who love to make fun of and cut down others.

Kalibeck

Little minds try to belittle others...pay them no mind!
I think this pup is holding his ears out to avoid bumping them against the ceiling.....looks mostly GSD to me. Perhaps substandard size is what brought him to this sorry place in life. Rather than try to speculate at a photo, please Kind Soul, just save him! I wish I could, I'd call him Incubus, he looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost! jackie harris (Hi Abby!)

I just wish we could save them all. My next GSD is going to be a rescue, probably an oldie - but I hope that won't be for a long time yet. (Hi Jackie!)

I agree with Kalibeck. I also figure it is a lot like being stabbed in the back, by, oh those ever-rewriting, little minds. If they do it once, and then twice, you just know there will be a third time.

LadyFrost, did you get the little airplane head or what? LOL    I  love him already.

He's gorgeous! I'd take him on if I was in a position to. But then I want a bigger hosue with more land so I can take more rescue dogs.

I didn't read Sadie's thread. I couldn't. I saw the title and that was upsetting enough - I didn't need to read any further, particularly when I know I can't have her.

Go for it! If you're in a position to rescue then just go ahead and do it. Well done, keep us posted and lots of piccies please, whoever comes to live with you.

LadyFrost

He was not in a viewing room, when i asked a volunteer i was told maybe he was under quaranteen (?) but was not 100% sure.....so, i just walked around double checked 2nd and 3rd room (cats) ....i dont know....i hated to drive away w/o even seeing the guy but after 1 hour of walking around i had to get out of there otherwise i would have been taking someone home with me...
