I'm in Canada - I pay 30 CAN $ for 20 lbs. of raw meat(chicken or beef) incl. veggies - lasts two weeks for one dog; or $25 for 10 lbs. of green tripe, which is most excellent.

Thanks Jim!
I need to find a butcher so I can get cheaper ground beef.
Here is something to compare to.
Something are priced well while other items i feel are a lil too high but very good selection.

I feed 4 dogs raw. 2 Females GSD 8 months old about 60-65 lbs. They have 1.5 lbs once a day.
1 Male GDS 3 years old abour 80 lbs. 1.65lbs. once a day.
1 Female Pitbull 5 year old fat ass 72 lbs. 1.2lbs once a day.
We feed chicken quarters, strip steaks, beef ribs, ground beef, stew meat, pork ribs, pork chops.
My chicken cost about .75 per lb and all other meat cost me .75 per lb.
Once a week an organ meal of mixed organs-around 1.19 per lb.
Add in cost of plain yogurt-raw eggs with shell. You can do the math.
LOL
I try to keep it a buck a pound to feed these Awesome Dogs. I get the red meat from an Aldi's store the day it expires for .75 per pound. Hope this last or my budget will get blown apart.
Now subtract no more Vet bills or teeth cleaning. I've had GSD's for 20 years or so and never had healthier Dogs since switching to full raw meat diet.

Isachev...where the hell do you live that you can get all that meat at $.75/lb????

I never thought of Aldi for meat. I'll have to go there tomorrow :)
I pay .25lb for chicken backs(come in 40lb boxes), .59 for chicken leg quarters (resturant quality and can only buy 40lbs at a time), eggs w/shell once a week,
venison last year was FREE from the local processing plant (lots of meaty bones plus floor scrap!! Thank you Jennifer!!). All the rabbits we can shoot and clean
are free as well ( well not totally free.... how much does one .22 cost?)
Our dogs don't get an all raw diet. They get raw in the AM and kibble in the PM so I can't give an accurate count of what it costs per day, but I believe it to be
under $1.00 per day per dog and would probably still be under $1.00 per day per dog if we decided to go all raw.

The local whole sale place where all the resturants get theirs :) Our chicken is about as fresh as you can get it too. We pick it up less then 24 hours after slaughter.

Ace- I live outside Chicago about 60 miles west. Mexican supermarkets sell chicken quarters for
.67 lb. Anywhere else around here about .80 lb. Some rare occasions can get for higher price of
.99 lb., but thats rare.
