Can someone help me with some info on V1 Dando aus Nordrheinland? Was he a BSP participant? Looks like some nice working dogs are comming of him AND nice show dogs. Thanks.

on the left hand side is a list of BSP results, under collections. The dog was DoB 82, so the earliest show at the BSP would be 84 (more likely 85), possibly up to 88 maybe even 89. You can check yourself if this dog appears in the list.

he never entered the BSP or a regional qualification, but he placed V 7 BSHZ 1984 V 1 BSHZ 1985 V 1 Kampioenschapsclubmatch 1986 in the Netherlands V 1 BSHZ 1986

This dog was used by a few famous working kennels because presumably he had very good working instincts. He was a son of Dingo vom Haus Gero, who also was known to be a good working dog and a producer of good working character. Unfortunately at that time he was not a favored dog by people in high places as they had their own dogs to promote. Therefore, this line was bad mouthed and every weakness of this line was highlighted. As a result, today in the show dog world, every dog is linebred severely on Palme vom Wildsteigerland and even if you want to breed out, you don't have any alternative in high lines. Makosh, I am a big Dingo and Dando fan. He was one of Dingo's progeny that really helped bring strong character and working ability to the show lines. I have a male who is line bred on him and his working ability and that of his progeny is evident.
