"imagine a 20 lb cat hiding behind ONE blade of grass! he thought we couldn't see him."
LOL been there done that! I often get..."if I scrunch down low enough in the gutter, they'll just walk right by without even knowing I'm here."

at one point i was renting a little 2 bdrm house behind a main house. one night i hear a knock on the door. there was a window to the left side of the door, and i always looked to see who it was (my place backed up to a dark alley). there's no one on the porch. i go back and sit down. there's a knock on the door. i look out the window and there's no one there. i go and sit, and there's a knock on the door. i'm getting a little freaked. "who's there?", no answer and i can't see anyone. as i'm standing there, peeking out the window, there's a knock on the door! now, i can see there isn't anyone standing there, so i open the door, and there's ulysses, pissed because he's been knocking on the door trying to come in for the night!

What's wrong with Tux?
My moggies: a ginger one called Jonesy and a black and white one called Dillan... but they had "posh" names too (cats have to have those) Jonesy's was, "Ginger Indiana Ticketyboo Jones" and Dillan's was, "JimBob Dillan Thomas".

Yea, Tigermouse. I actually like being inventive or at least semi original with my pets names. I never reuse a name I have used before and don't like to use those of friends or relatives either. When my daughter was young of course she named everything the most obvious stuff like brownie, cookie, oreo, Pumpkin and domino. The cheesiest name I did was "Irish" for my orange cat with green eyes.

She's a sweetie. I miss having cats too, my hubby says he is allergic but me thinks he is scared of 'em. LOL! How's about CJ short for Calamity Jane!

4pack, i have been desperate to ask, what is a tuxedo cat? We have a exotic short hair called Bubbles, 'cause that's what she looks like, British shorthair, Yogi, like a bear, Tonkinese, Tia, don't know why, and we had a Siamese called Zola. She had two deformed paws, so we named her after the athlete Zola Bud, who was famous for running in her bare feet. Makes sense to me. lol. You have put me in the notion now!!! liz
