By the way, Sock, I ONLY pmed the link to people who were sick of the crap on pdb. By that I mean the crap that was going on back then. It's true it's a lot better now.

I will not block anyone or delete any thread or even bother to read the posts from here on out. It is a thankless task and most of you deserve what you get when it is unmoderated. The forum will continue to decline. Now THAT'S a pretty conciliatory statement, I have to say. Not that I expect everyone to be holding hands and singing Kumbaya around a campfire tonight, LOL - but whether it was actually intended as a start toward mending fences, it sure kinda sounds like one.

That is the whole point, it is not Hodies place to tell who I am. She found that info out being a mod. Hodie did not want her name to be known as a mod, but she had no problem exposing me. She was also sent a pm asking her to respect the moderators identities. All original mods received that pm and what Hodie does not realize is Oli was super busy at the time and was not available to ask advice.
I have nothing to hide. I have discussed this with Oli and I told him you and Hodie were bound and determined to expose my identity. Go ahead.
Number one I never argued with people and then banned them. I give my permission for the ex-mods to tell about how careful I am of banning people and what I go through with each banning. It is never an easy decision for me, except people like the flooder and spammers.

StrayPixels, I don't think there's any remaining issue as to whether hodie quit as a moderator - that fact seems to have been well established already and I don't believe either she or anyone else has claimed otherwise. What's being hashed out here relates to her status as a regular member.

Like I said I do not expect her to beg. It is so simple to talk it out. I am big enough and it takes all of 2 minutes to sign up a new name.

That explains the inconsistancy very well and thank you.
I'll say flat out for the record. I know exactly who some of the mods are and have for quite some time.
Personally, I think most of them have done a damn fine job of it. Sure there's problems and misunderstandings but that happens. I really don't care who is a mod and who isn't as long as it's done fairly and equally. Some people can do it and other's can't. No crime or shame in it if you can't. Nature of the beast.
Also for the record, I don't care one whit who can read PM's and never thought anyone but Oli could. I haven't said anything about that particular subject on this board. I consider it a HUGE violation of privacy for anyone to be snooping about in anyone else's private messages. Including Oli. Unless it's a criminal matter or state security reason, it should NOT be done IMO.
So where is the crime is someone being sent a PM about another board? I've sent a few to people about other boards and freely admit it. Maybe Jackie's board, maybe the workingdog forum, maybe a few other dog forums. I belong to horse boards and motorcycle boards. Would I be wrong in PM-ing annother member about joining a Harley or a dressage forum?
