@Chaz. At least yours have friends where they are going! When my mom retired to NC, her husband died shortly after moving there. Eventuallly, she moved back North before she passed on, because she said she got tired of living in Mayberry!

Well, the 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍃leaves are starting to change color ariound here. And for a time, my NE season becomes the best place on Earth! Temps today are in the sixties and the sun is shining. The eggplants and peppers🍆🍆🍅🍅are gorgeous, too! I am going to make eggplant rollatini using Giada's recipe. She toasts pignoli nuts and adds them to the ricotta cheese filling. It is outstanding!

And try for the first time to make homemade hot sauce!🌶🌶🌶🌶

Formatting on devices, still sucks. 😖

Ya know, Joe Paul can eat 66 raw oysters in a row, with and without hot sauce. Who does that ..

The Swan

Floating quietly upon the grey still water; very different from the rest; she is solitairy~

Elegant, peaceful and gentle ; feathers white, soft, and stoically undisturbed as she is unmoved by that which fills her heart so completely ~

She has not forgotten the dreams or how the sun glistened upon the water, such happy times, though tears tell a different story now~

Love does not forget, nor can time erase that which secretly fills the silent places of ones soul~

Life goes on; yet always listening until lips rest silently and forever begins~

The water holds all of the joy and laughter that there ever was ~

The water sings beautiful lyrics of songs unsung, and just as the sun dances upon the water, so she is there in spirit always~

She is safe, happy, and content~

Bring on the Clowns! Or, rather--- Beware the Clown!

Evil Clown threats are causing panic! No Clowns allowed this Halloween!

This is just too much! All the hateful, deadly crap that happens in this world, lately... and now this! Whhhhhat the FFFFFFFFFFF!

Swans are good! Clowns scare me

If you want historical romance and swans, then there is no better way to find them both in the trilogy by Juliet Marlier, called the Sevenwaters Trilogy. The first of the books is called, Daughter of the Forest. I fell in love with the "Painted Man", myself. Truly wonderful to read. I promise.

 

Chaz, they just arrested two 13 year olds, a girl and boy with evil clown threats. I kid you not! And they got the cops walking the halls of some schools... just incase!

Feel sad for real clowns everywhere. Must have sad faces painted on 😕
