Honestly, I don't really care about how active it is, the forums are only one very very small part. The pedigrees and classifieds are way more popular.

It is a valid point, Koots brought up. She says it will be more active - so Koots would you allow some of the crap that has happened here in the past to continue just for a little more action? And if a member kept going after admin, members and the owner - would that be okay? We have 100% cleaned up the trash here. This place was a sewer hole of a website. Did it draw people, you bet. Who wouldn't love the drama - except those who actually wanted to talk dogs in a civil and respectful learning environment. What I find amazing is old threads denouncing all the crap that went on here but as soon as it is cleaned up those same members who called for it to be cleaned up then left.

Every set of admin/moderators never stuck for Oli because da poor members would push them out as soon as Oli would put them in place. Except the whining, crying and begging didn't get to Oli this time because he wants it cleaned up. The admin do a lot here you guys never see or hear about. From helping members to keeping scammers out of the classifieds.

 

aakay, I could not agree more. If every member could post as you do whether they disagree or agree this site would be so much better.

What I just can't seem to understand is why members have to be rude, nasty and belittle others who don't agree with them. Debate is great everyone learns but rudeness teaches nothing.

If you really want to get people on your side to agree with you learn from you it would seem the best way is to get them to like you, then maybe you could persuade them to believe as you do.

Working dog owners HATE all others  Why.

Reminds me of the Quarter Horse.  It USED to be the most versatile horse ever.  Popularity changed it. Now it is the Most versatile BREED.

Members fought hated the changes. They made a group within the Main Quarter Horse association and called it the Foundation registry.Now for those who liked the original they can have it and breed just for that.   Not all like the changes but they all have their spot and it works.

Why can't dog owners no German Shepherd owners as many breeds have a show side as well as a working side.and they do not fight like the GSD working side.

Would those of you who have children want their teachers to act like many of you here to get to get a point across, of course not, you would want them fired because they cannot teach acting like that.

Kooks it would definitely bring a bit of life back to the thread . Bring them all back . Don't know them all but u need strong opinions a good argument about the different dogs. One thing anyone on the site could see is Vk put more effort into dog's than most on this site and is that what this site is all about don't get me wrong some of his posts would drive u mad make u laugh make u think .u all ways got something. He's a good character. And I bet most on here if seen a post by always looked to c what he's up to 😊

Correction: SOME working dog owners hate all others.
Why? Probably for the same reason some show dog owners hate all others.
Either way, it boils down to lack of tolerance for others in every walk of life. I've been around the haters from both camps and the common thred is they are very intolerant of people they don't consider their equal. It has to do with a fractured society.....just look how children are treated in schools now for being children. Pretty hard to go through teen years without being a teenager. When the kids are treated as they are in school how do you suppose they will behave in society. When dog owners from the show side are treated like crap by the working owner, it seems EVERY working dog owner gets treated like the teenager in school. STOP labeling and stereotyping people by the dog they own.
