Let's ask this simple question? Who can obtain a US PASSPORT? Answer: A US citizen.
 
Consider any hypothetical child  A. They can only leave and return to the US with a Passport, the USA gave him a passport because he WAS born in the USA.  And he proved it with, a certified copy of his BIRTH certificate complete with a raised seal.

This child can one day become POTUS! It is true!


Remember too, why Henry Kissenger never could?

as far as passports go, obama could not have entered pakistan on a usa visa at the time that he was there.  he would have had to use a UK one.  (while in college)

all i have to say about the "birther" remarks is that this is about a whole lot more than a piece of paper.  if they think that we are that shallow and that this is only about the birth certificate, they are very very wrong.

Yes, it is shallow because the point is moot. He already is POTUS and no amount of disbelief on the "birthers" will change that. And even if that is the strength of an argument for eligibility, once again, it is flimsy and absolutely emotional and is being used as an excuse. I just wonder why there are so many people who want to waste their energies on something so pointless?

Citizen or Natural-Born Citizen

the constitution stipulates Natural-Born Citizen 

they wouldn't have put that phrase in there unless it meant something special...

like being a citizen who was born of 2 parents both being citizens.

the intent was to make sure that the president didn't have any foreign alliances to - say the country of his birth, and so that the president. also for the president to be familiar with our laws and customs.

if the requirement were only a citizen, then someone could move into the states at 25 years, become a citizen and then president by 50 - having preferences to his homeland...

Duh, he is naturally born of the womb in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Nothing extra special about it.... very simply an act of birth on a particular soil.

the 14th amendment is the one that states what a citizen is.... that was just after the civil war....

And you can go over this until the cows come home: OBAMA IS POTUS . If Clinton couldn't get impeached for getting his oval world rocked well Obama isn't going to get impeached because of where his mama broke water.
