Now the aspiring dictator is calling to have protesters arrested, that he'll make what ever charges needed to throw them in jail ( read gulags). Carlin is above any persons who are speaking out against Trump Batista---because like Trump, Carlin is full of distain for those he considers his inferiors.. which happens to be every one.
I don't need nor listen to 'cable bobble heads' for me to understand what is happening. I watch trump Batista at his 'rallies' and come to my very own conclusions.
People like Carlin who think they are out smarting the dictator and who will vote him in are going to either become his 'brown shirt' or end up on the rail to the gulags.
Worship of money is very destructive and unfortunately money has become the determining factor of us elections.

I just love how "political correctness" has become the scapegoat for everything "bad", when most people parroting un-PC memes don't even understand what it is! If you dig deep enough into history and a bit more shallow in your own brains, you will come to understand that PC is what is embodied fully in the 1St Amendment of the Constitution of the UNITED States of America! Those things that divide us by opinion are to remain in the PERSONAL realm of society, but when you go out into the PUBLIC realm, you have the right to be respected as an EQUAL along with the responsibility of reciprocal respect. The politicians divide us in our personal opinions, where government is not supposed to tread and then, when those very opinions are what's being argued and debated, they're robbing each and every one of us of our labor, wages, natural resources, making the rich richer and keeping us ALL as slaves.
One more point about "regulations" that so many people abhor and take little to no time to understand is that they come about through settled law! When enough lawsuits work their way through the courts and precedent is set, more lawsuits are a waste of time for the courts, as well as a waste of taxpayer money! So, instead of trite lawsuit after lawsuit, the ruling becomes ensconced as "regulation".
It'really sad to me that those who wear the shiniest Patriot's badges and claim themselves Constitutionalists, have no idea what the document actually stands for and would rewrite it in a heartbeat, if given the chance. If you're going to champion division in the name of anything, at least label it properly as fascism!

I wouldn't waste too much time on the R. Maddow clip because already it is very old news with a decided bent to its motives.
If one watched any of the Trump rally's from Ohio or MO., it becomes excruciatingly clear who is the instigator. The "disturbers" aplenty kept up their antics, were "gently" escorted out by police, as often as Trump proclaimed, "Get them out. Go back to Mommy." He constantly exhorted police and rally supporters to not get involved with violence. Instead, he made a promise to prosecute each and every one of the "disrupters".
And to answer GSD: No I haven't been to a Trump rally in person, just watched what is shown on TV, lately. I am now strangely fascinated by it all. The sheer unprecedented way of Trump moments just has to be experienced, there is no other way to predict or define what his candidacy has become. And also, reading the experience of those two who went to a rally with the motive to be azhats, kind of taints their whole POV for me, so, I take it for what it is. Nothing too alarming if one is taking in the whole scheme of things as they play out.
I was watching with my younger son, and we used this experience together as a teaching moment. I explained to him how the media is not very favorable to Trump and pointed out how the split screen showed two boxes: One two thirds the size of the screen and the other, one third the size of the screen. I then showed him how the point of a Trump rally was for his supporters to actually hear and listen to what he has to say. Instead, for minutes during his speech, his words were muted showing him in the little box, and some protester/"disturber" was zero'd in on with a hate sign or a strategic lone heckler was tolerated while security was fetched to escort them away.
And then the outside story was more pathetic journalism, they kept showing one measly "disturber" crying from pepper spray with a water bottle over his head and somebody's fingers picking at his eyes. Who knows what he did to get himself in such a situation, and I kept waiting for some sort of proof of a crowd or riot that received likewise treatment. No. None of that. The one lonely guy. Probably got paid to be an azhat.

I think it is more at:
Trump can't be bought. Not even by the devil.
Hillary is bought and paid for, and needs the devil to deliver.

by GSDtravels on 13 March 2016 - 15:03
Trump can't be bought? If you believe that, I've got 10 bridges I'd like you to buy! I hope you realize that when Trump spouts his "self funded" horse shit, what he really means is, he's "borrowing" the money from his own Corporation? And do you know what will happen when he loses? He will write it off as a business loss and you, the taxpayer, will foot the bill! The ONLY things he's really smart about is knowing how to spout empty rhetoric, bullying people into believing his lies, gaming the system and getting everybody else to pay for his failures, which are many and ALWAYS expensive! He sells bullshit for a living and contributes next to nothing! And the gullible suck it all in and beg for more. In some sick way, I almost hope he is elected so his minions find out just how deceitful he really is, but sadly it would be at the expense of us all.

lol@joanro you hit the nail on the head - big time.
This stuff comes from Trumps mouth which the supporters always seem to forget. They would have you believe it is all the media and anyone else they can blame it on. This man will say anything to suck the racist, insecure, blind, stupid and those wishing for a savior from their own delusional thinking to his side. They look past the fact that he is pro abortion even though they (Carlin) would never vote for a liberal because the liberal supports abortion. They look past the fact that in all reality Trump leans liberal only because they either are Christian and like the fact that Trump will take care of Muslims OR they have very hidden racist leanings.
Trump is saying this protester is from ISIS. Wrong. As usual with the Donald. I wonder if this person now has a lawsuit against Trump for saying these things? Oh that is right this is Trumps constitutional right to free speech unless it is someone saying something against Trump and then you are a thug, ISIS or a troublemaker. The republicans keep throwing up canidates that are flawed. This one just happens to be their worst to date.

Trump's claim is that his researcher uncovered information that should have been easily noted by authorities. We've bungle so much in that regard, bending over backward to PC-ness, that it is certainly possible and mightily probable.
The real truth with proof? Who the heck knows. No one is showing anything concrete, as it is all part of the political campaigning in progress. Everyone gets to decide on election day.
I think no one has a clue where this is going and that is scaring the bejeezus out of y'all! No one can even tear themselves away from the personality obsession to even attempt to discuss any sort of policy mentioned to the rally supporters. Not one word, because frankly you can't do it without your own scripts!

by GSD Admin on 13 March 2016 - 16:03
But you are defending Trump and making excuses. And for the life of me I cannot figure out why you are supporting this clown. What is about Trump that is so special? What draws you to him? Why would you vote for a racist?
by beetree on 13 March 2016 - 16:03
I don't think he hates other races. As a matter of fact, I think he would hire any one of any race who is competent for any position that needs to be filled. Others, and maybe you, too, want a reason to vilify and exclude anyone who doesn't agree to the war on words' definition. I see that as the scarier formation of closeted ideas and frozen thoughts that will stifle our typical unfettered genius, that goes hand in hand with inventiveness and optimism.
I have not made up my mind, what I am going to do, except NOT vote for Hillary. I keep saying that, with my posts! I am exploring what is being presented and have decided to keep an open mind, now that it looks like, no one knows where this is going! And it could be Trump. Yes, it could.
