island; I use the equipment I can afford, which isn't the most
up to date or the highest quality, granted; and I have some
limitations with how dextrous I can be, given that the Arthritis
has reduced my gripping, typing, flexibility in operating a key
board. And I have a background in consumer safety which
means paying proper attention to the use of security packages
- which it can be complicated to turn on and off for short actions
like hyperlink cut & paste, for eg. I am also consistently unlucky,
in following instructions to press 'this key, in this order' I often
mis-key; think that's limiting on a pc, you should see me trying to
use a screen keyboard on a modern cell phone or tablet ! And
there's the time factor, why fiddle about trying to get posting
photos right, against all the above odds, when there are more
important things to do ?

Not correct, at all. Sounded like excuses, instead of ineptness. Most people manage to evolve and master some level of competency with the ever changing technology. I haven't heard hyperlink used since I read my first Mac Bible, decades ago.

us your empathy skills.
So the fact that I am excusing my ineptness
is relevant to you, how ?
by beetree on 30 March 2016 - 11:03
Take it easy, Hund, I simply wondered why such an intelligent person as yourself claims to lack common skills. Must suck to miss out so much and be so dependent on others. I don't think this needs to go further, you have arthritis, I get it.
I will do you one better, I won't bother you with any further interest in any of your future posts.
