Need balance on this board - Page 10

I have a question. Given the disturbing information that has come out about the conduct of the troll community,are mod looking into this? If so,will these unethical and clearly hostile attempts to obtain personal information (for clearly no legitimate purpose) lead to permanent banning of the culprits?

With all this talk of PM's and "warnings" being sent .... You stated that you received PM's Encouraging you to make up Multiple User Names and to join in the Fun !!   As the Posters who were sending you the PM's were making up Multiple User Names for "Fun" -- what exactly was the "Fun" to which they were referring ?   Oli should definitely see those PM's -- JMO

It is a shame that his Board is being abused once again............

 

I sincerely hope so Mystere.  In fact I would take it a step further, I think anyone who is so underhanded as to try to suss out personal information about others should be exposed on this board for exactly the kind of low life trolls they are.  As a matter of fact, someone also  approached me to find out if I knew who Sock Puppet was.  I really think the mods should allow us to post the PMs in this instance.

Send me the pm's. I have seen some pm's and they are not flattering to a whole group of people on PDB.

 

I will take any pm's that were aimed at new members. Pm's used to warn new members of an in or out crowd.

Personally, I think PM's "Encouraging Multiple User Names" should go DIRECTLY to Oli.   I also think that PM's from anyone who is looking / digging for information on other Posters personal informatlon should go directly to Oli -- JMO

That's funny,Maggie,as YOU were the one who apparently gave someone my full name and posted my full name on a thread. violating my privacy,while so zealously protecting your own. Oli has appointed moderators to deal with board issues. The mods,therefore,should receive the pms. I hope our British contingent forwards those pms to the mods. It would be nice to see the eminence grisly behind the trolls exposed.

Personally, I think you should not worry about how this board is ran. Personally, I think you have bothered Oli enough with your games.

Personally, I think you have no authority to tell members what to do.

I run the day to day here, not you.

 

I want to see any pm's from the welcoming committee, warning to stay away from certain members. Members names will be kept confidential.

Let me take a wild guess here:

The same group that feels it must "warn" new members about other members, is the same group that lied to Oli about Sock Puppet being a computer hacker, and is the same group that tries to obtain personal information about Sock Puppet and the same  group that posted Mystere's real name without her permission and core members are  the same  group that posted my real name without my permission.

This kind of low life crap really needs to stop once and for all, and I hope the moderators will consider that those who can't stop, perhaps need to be banned permanently.  This is the kind of underhanded nonsense that destroys the board.

 

 

I'm not getting involved with this mess passing PM's around. I didn't delete anything so it's there to be seen. Obviously there's a reason the Mods can't read PM's, so evidently it's for the best.

All the trollish behavior should stop, why it's fed and bred apon is beyond me.

I'm not a Troll, I have one ScreenName so I'm not apart of all this BS. I want it to stay that way.
