POWERSTROKE produces a very few, select litters of American Bulldogs from our carefully chosen National Caliber Foundation Stock on our 30 acre “gentleman’s farm” in upstate New York.
Our impressive POWERSTROKE Studs and Bitches possess “Strength of Body and Mind” to produce the very best puppies through selective breeding, nutrition, and health testing (OFA/ CERF).They ALL must have people-loving temperaments, balanced drives, and NKC Champion/ Weight Pull parents. In addition to this superb genetic heritage, our puppies are well socialized with children, small dogs, cats and new situations. We match each puppy to the buyer’s specific needs; fully guaranteeing health and soundness in writing.
We also specialize in Rare True Black & White 100% American Bulldogs…striking Vanity Dogs with fine, glistening coats. Usually tuxedo patterned, these gorgeous dogs (popular in the 1940’s) are now available only through a handful of breeders; world-wide.
We offer friendly, trainable puppies which possess athleticism, size (bone, head, and muscle) and exceptional show conformation and gait. Our puppies are placed as foundation stock, weight pull dogs, show dogs, and the very best family/ companion dogs!
Our goal is to produce true, pure American Bulldogs which are sound, have tremendous presence, and are a joy to live with. We do not go with fads which change the Breed Standard or intense line breeding which may favor type over soundness and health. Protecting and improving the breed is our responsibility and passion!
