GSDGuy, Revelation is written in chronological order and Should bring hope and peace to believers.
And you are right even the disciples were told to carry on and live, but always watching for His return. Jesus did say no man knows the day or the hour, but we will know the season. There is a day in Isreal celebrated every year and has been since before Jesus walked on earth. The day is the beginning of the feast of trumpets the the day is known in Jewish tradition as The Day That No Man Knows The Day or The Hour. If any one is interested why let me know. I have to fix my fence right now

If you do a very indepth study of the Tabernacle and all its meaning ,down to the colors, the words that depict Jesus was there , the Trinity and the reason for the Tabernacle and Aarons ROD, the showbread, the sybols of all of this and what the meanings are...

Then you understand the Faith we walk by , but with Obedience and the reason for it all.

I sing an Old Gather song THe King IS Coming and have sung this song for over the ages....When the Trumpet of the Lord shall sound and Time shall be no more.

Will you have oil in your lamp and be READY?

ONLY the Heavenly Father , who has Jesus sitting on the right hand of him, knows the day , time or season he will come back to claim HIS OWN...the Jews and the Gentiles....

The earth??? Humans do not know all of what will happen. Only the creator.

Jesus does say the earth shall pass away.
In Luke- 21vs33 Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Rev: 21: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

We may not know the exact day or hour but He sure gives us clues about what the times on earth will be like so we will have an idea.

In Luke Jesus says "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that it's desolation is near. For this is the time of punishment,"

In Matthew he says: "Immediately after the distress of those days
"the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it's light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken,

Then he goes on to say in Luke: " there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth nations will be in anguish , men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time you will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your head because your redemption is drawing near."

These questions have always fascinated me too, although probably too much, as my mom says not to dwell on it, focus on living your life properly.

But what I do know is the BEAST the Bible speaks of is our economic system, which is failing as of now with paper money. A new system is in the works, yup, microchips, which of course is the mark of the Beast. When we are forced to get a micro chip we know we've got 4.5 years ( I think that is correct) of the Anti-Christ's reign until Jesus returns. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So, just by how the debt load seems to be universal right now, I'm thinking we are not far off from a one world gov't where someone steps in to fix the mess we've all made.

Do I think he is alive? absolutely and probably chomping at the bit to take over.

Hi GSDguy, yes, but that was in relation to the coming of Christ, not this heaven and earth passing away.
Is that what you mean?
