Long Coats In The Showring - Page 5

Dawnmarie, have you shown your pups recently? How are they doing in the show ring? Coats are the most difficult dilema. Many breeders cannot hang on to fluffy pups that may be coated so let them go as pets only to see them later as gorgeous adults. Many judges cannot even agree on a "coat" at early ages. I think it best to continue showing pups up to one year of age for the "fun" of it. And after one year old continue showing the better defined pups to Have Fun. It you loose the "fun" find another place to spend your time/money.
