You can go to the AKC site and look up foreign registration, it will give you a list of countries they will register.

I am happy to say that I know Niels Christian Staudt of Kennel Staudt, DK. I bought my male German Shepherd Dog from him and I had a wonderful experience. I too was fearful of importing a dog from Europe and from people I did not know. There are so many dishonest "dog dealers." Kennel Staudt is a small, family owned kennel in Denmark. His dogs are allowed in the house with his nice family. This man is so honest you can't believe it. The dog I bought from him is the finest fellow you can imagine and the price was fair.
