Thanks Bob for input,I did a search on the kennel looks to be located in Austin,Texas, could not find a range of any type of prices on website,it appears they will not let the a buyer pick their own pup out of a litter and seems like unless you are worthy of buying from them you may not be approved to buy and may not qualify it appears, they have a long list of items you must fill out before any type of purchase,I did not do complete research to see what quality of breeding stock, but at first glance it looked like some good dogs that they have,if I have got it wrong from viewing the website please feel free to clarify.

Julia Priest, Von Sontausen in California, has been consistently producing working GSDs since the early 1990's, from a breeding program that began with her foundation bitch, Metzundyali's Sonja. Sonja's daughter Cora von Sontausen thereafter carried the kennel name forward. Julia is not a large-scale breeder, and does not always have puppies available or pending, though she does 'co-breed' litters with a few select individuals who share her viewpoint that places working ability and temperament on equal footing with physical soundness.  Von Sontausen-line dogs have excelled in SchH, upper levels of AKC obedience, law enforcement, SAR,  and as service dogs, and recently the first von Sontausen-line bitch earned the HGH title.  If I were looking to get involved in breeding and wanted to establish a strong female-based foundation line, this US line would be at the top of a very short list of potential sources for such a female.
