we do test all our dogs for DM and one of our dogs came in DM clear about 12 months ago, now the results of the tests of the pups are not as expected by results of parents, so one parent is redone, and second parent will be redone after christmas, but is expected to be not clear

The lab who did the original testing, suddenly closed shop last april, which makes us curious as of why.

after all retesting is done( we will retest dog by blood and send to two different labs) I will give name of dog and laboratory as I think this is important, and wonder if more people have such findings with this, or other  laboratories.

I still believe in DM testing and think incorrect outcomes are result of human mistakes, but on the other hand, if laboratories make mistakes, what value can we give to any test result

I will be looking forward to reading the results of the testing and name of the lab that you originally sent to. Were the initial test done by saliva swab?
