HAPPY NEW YEAR!! - Page 1

Hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Stay safe out there too. Hope all your successes are carried over to the new year and all your troubles are left behind.

 

Time for some NEW YEAR GOALS!! Lets hear them.....

 

I will go first... lol... Since I have been out of the IPO sport for 5 years, I plan on getting a young male adult that has had some foundation work done already... or I may get a titled younger male.. not sure which one yet. I plan on getting the new dog around April/May 2019.

In the mean time I will continue working the 2 year old male I have now, I am going to do AKC obedience and Rally with him. I plan on competing with him around February/March 2019.

great Jyl , mine is almost the same, plan to hire extra staff to make more me-time and start training a dog for myself again

Need to get X-rays, bloodwork, and eyes done, and if all is well, make final decision about stud and arrangements for breeding.

Also need to get her certified... She's trained, just need piece(s) of paper that say she is.

Great to hear you will be getting more help and will be able to get back to working a dog for yourself again! I have been out of the sport for close to 5 years now and finally my life is getting back to normal and I would love to get back in the sport again. I still support my IPO club and have helped host a trial each year... even though I have not had a dog to work at all. So in spring time I plan on getting a dog for MYSELF and will dust off the cob webs and get back into it.

Good luck on the X-rays! I just got the results back on my 2 year old male... he got an OFA - Excellent on his hips and OFA - Normal on his elbows. He is also DM, MDR1 - Clear. Hope all your health testing goes as planned on your female!!
