I just spoke with the kennel Meister of one of the Von Batu kennels, and he told me that the SV HAS reversed it's earlier ruling and the ban on the Nero Progeny is/has been lifted. This is no rumour. This gentleman runs the kennel for the SV Vice President(Erich Orschler), and said it is FACT. I purchased a Nero daughter from him earlier in the year and he advised me to continue her training that she WILL be allowed to show and title under the SV in Germany. GREAT NEWS for all Nero progeny owners!

Great news SGBH. Am really happy for you and all the others that have Nero progeny. Thank you for sharing this with us. Hope to see Sala one day at a show. She certainly has won my heart and good for you for declining any offers to purchase her!

Can you please ask Von Batu kennels to post the final clarification onto the official SV website? possible in both English and German, of course? If it is on the SV. website what's the URL? Don't get me wrong but I do find it hard to believe that a dog, a VA dog after having a suspicious operation to fix the joint of his elbows is finally allowing to breed again, Including progeny (genes wise). I think Nero is gorgeous but lets worry more about improving the breed besides ruining and spoiling it by our greediness to produce puppies with Neros sons/daughters.

Brittany: Von Batu kennels are not going to post a SV desision on a post for you(smile). I just passed on info that was given to me this morning, during a period of glee. Maybe I should not have posted it all. Be patient the info will be released in time.

I hope this is true, I was suprised when the SV banned all of Nero's progeny...They'll have to do some type of official notification since they notified owners of progeny banning with certified letters before...
