I own this dog since he was a puppy from JINOPO Czech Republic. Up to 4 months old everything was well but then after 4 months old our dog started to limp on his front leg. We started to visit vet orthoped. We have visited 3 very experienced orthopeds here in the Czech Republic and all of them said that he has the worst displasia elbow. We have been through 2 surgeries. We are now waiting for another surgery.
The reason why I am posting this here is that I would like to know how the puppies from this litter are doing health-wise. 5 males and 3 females were born...
Thank you everyone for your time and I will be looking forward to hear from you.

Hope Von Arko Bussan

I wanted to add that Hope recently passed away, today is 12/10/2023, Hope passed away yesterday on 12/09/2023. I have to admit that she was the best dog, I ever had. I have two working line german shepherds and even though they came from extremely good working lines on paper, Hope just understood and was able to mentally do things these dogs couldn't do. Hope knew when to tone it up or down. Even though she was my least expensive dog, I bought her in Mississippi in 2012 for $350, she was my best dog. That just goes to show you that spending thousands of dollars on a dog doesn't guarantee anything. I will admit that she wasn't as athletic as my other two working dogs, but she had an awesome bond with me as I had her since she was 6 weeks old.
If you are looking for a good quality dog, most people reading this will not be going to a national or world shutzhund competition, you should be looking for lines that will be a good family dog.
I have a young daughter (at the time I am writing this comment), and I was never afraid to leave Hope with her, obviously never alone together.
Hope also knew how to put the other dogs I have in there place, and to keep them in line, albeit she was a smaller dog, she just knew how to handle other dogs.
Again, if you look at her pedigree she was a mix of American show-lines, west german working lines, and true working lines. You are not going to win a beauty pageant or a shutzhund competition with this line, but you are getting a damn good dog. This dog will not destroy your property, won't go to the bathroom in your house, although she was aloof of strangers she knew when someone was friend or foe. She wouldn't run away, or attack other dogs, nor did I have to worry about her when I took her out in the public. She also didn't bark obsessively if there wasn't some type of clear danger, or a stranger outside the door. Trust me if you ever get a working dog you will know what I am talking about. Hope also would wait for me tirelessly at the end of the driveway until I got home, or she would stay up in the house until I came home.
Her favorite food was peanut butter, and steak. She didn't like going to the vet, but what dog does, however she would go with the vet technician when she had to.
Again, if you are looking for a well bred family dog that is a German shepherd I do recommend the lines that she came from.
I also got her at 6 weeks old, which I don't know if that was a good or bad thing, but it sure worked for me and Hope. She lived for almost 12 years, with little to no health problems, which should mean something to any potential future dog parent.
If anyone who reads this wants to know more about Hope and her temperament please leave a comment below and I will be sure to respond when I read your comment!
Thanks,
God bless you Hope!

Midnight Mountain Rio

Rio had the most pleasant disposition. He loved kids. Fantastic watch dog and if trained would have made a great guard dog. He weighed 120 lbs and was proportionate. His play drive for a ball was intense. He developed degenerative myelopathy and passed away one month shy of 10 years old.

Middy is a wonderful dog very gentle. Extremely good with the kids and is turning out to be a fantastic mobility service dog. He's extremely handler pleasing orientated and quite easy to train.
