This is how the professor ended his piece, and you conveniently left out:
I didn't leave out anything, I provided the link of the piece in its entirety. The convenience happens to be the link. My point was that the final result— being deemed, semi-fascist, still is not the same as a complete fascist, as you frequently, insist. Now you want to make like they are "almost" the same thing. You squawk about proof and facts, well, now I provided a proper yardstick to measure....OPINIONS. Sure beats you complaining all the time, with utter vagueness, just so you can feel like you are "right".
If Hillary keeps pushing the boundaries of ethics even her powerful political allies won't be able to protect her forever. This one will have to keep playing itself out.
About the "C" word. Truly offensive to my American "womanhood" ears. So you can imagine how shocked I was to hear this very word come out of my female British neighbor's mouth and used to decribe a male, no less! Talk about being a prude! I was aghast, and rendered mute! But it seems it wasn't all that shocking of a use for her. One time, I was annoyed and in a conversation with her, I called someone a "wanker" and then I saw her eyes pop!
I truly thought the "C" word was much more offensive than the "wanker" word! And I never would have thought to call a male, a "C". But who knows, with all the new genders maybe it works, now? I don't know. But since I am irrational it really doesn't matter and I am not going to overly worry about it.

Sadly the C word is fairly common parlance amongst certain sections of the Brit public, Bee, so she may not have seen anything too bad in its use (and yes, often to describe men) !
I am surprised at her reaction to 'wanker' though, as that would be in equally or more common use among the same sections of Brit society - unless her surprise was all about you, an American, using it ?

I already said, I really don't believe either candidate will be able to do that. So, if that is the push of the vid, I am not needing to watch any more.
The other thing is, I really hate other people trying to tell me how my vote will be interpreted. I don't care. I don't think that is the intent of voting. People should vote their conscience and other people should butt out and stop trying to tell them what it is supposed to mean.
Let the chips fall where they may, and that is the fairest way.

A. I never disagreed with him. Why you insist on saying I did is strange.
B. I never said Trump was a complete fascist. What does that even mean? It's like saying someone is completely pregnant. I just said he was a fascist. The thing is, I don't have an acceptable range when it comes to fascism. It's the same with racism. There are people who are more racist than others but I don't find any of it within a range that I find acceptable. And if your best defense for Trump when it comes to fascism is that he isn't completely fascist then I don't think that is much of a defense. It certainly doesn't make me comfortable with the idea of him as president. "Relax, it could be worse. He could be more like Hitler." How much someone is like Hitler is not the standard I use.
As far as the C word goes, we aren't in England and I doubt the average Trump supporter could find it on a map.

Harris is a very smart guy and I have next to me a paper by him in which he used neuroscience to prove Spinoza's, and disprove Descartes', theories on how we believe.

What fixation? I responded to your inaccurate comment claiming I left something out. You disagreed with this professor's method, you wanted a science equation. Probably because you believe aethiest Harris needed to invent one to justify his value system based on facts to replace any guidance of morals coming from God? Who knows, but I am certainly not fixated enough to wait for another wonky explanation. You never made a distinction between your use of "fascist" because it wasn't concieved yet in this discussion timeline, until I provided a measure. If you don't want to understand the variables, that is your perogative, but unlike the state of pregnancy being an either or condition, other people will understand when some social traits are in-line with facism and when other's are not, and when they also reside within the same person.
I am not defending Trump or fascism, either. Are these purposeful misinterpretations? I wouldn't be surprised.
Hey, I am a conversational person, if it bothers you because you can't control the overflow of my conversation to stay within your limited parameters, well, I just don't care. I wanted to tell my "C" word story, as an anecdote, so I did. And now it seems confirmed that my initial shock is culturally and internationally relative. Those things interest me, and not you. Don't feel the need to bring everything back to you, maybe?
If you can't or won't fathom certain possibilities, that narcissism you got going might be the issue.
