@Prager, do you think that Orlando joke would be funny if you changed it to apply to Sandy Hook?

I'm just curious if you think murdering gays is funnier than murdering children.

The irony is that on another thread you are defending your Christian beliefs.

And for someone who prides himself on his mastery of logic you always come up short. If fascists are anti-gun it does not logically follow that those who are anti-gun are fascists. I would call it sophistry on your part but I think that would be giving you too much credit. It's simply a case of you not being as clever as you would like to believe.

I'm not anti-gun and you call me a liberal, among other things. So according to your logic those who are not anti-gun are liberals.

Hey Hans the family of the inventor of the AR-15 said it was invented as a military weapon. I suppose you know more than they do, right? So, who really cares what you say. I simply do not. I tend to agree with Beetree you opened a forum to let liberty ring so instead of coming over here and causing problems go ban some of your members when they question you about your rants. You really aren't proving anything because we had a ban on these guns and it worked. How many times did a nut use one of these weapons to kill back in the ban days? Even republicans at that time supported it, now you telling me they were idiots? And speaking of nut cases which the pro-gun people talk about all the time, wouldn't it make sense to try and stop some of these nutjobs from getting a hold of these weapons or are you the type of person who likes to blame this on people the whole time you do nothing to stop them. In other words you are talking out your ass. And from the negativity that surrounds your name, it appears you are doing a fine job of it.

Yeah, because we all know Breitbart is the top news site on the web.

I would love to see you arm yourself against the government. You people are pathetic and you deserve what befalls you. It is called karma.

by Noitsyou on 22 June 2016 - 02:06

That's actually a stupid idea to buy a gun. So you're going to go everywhere with a rifle, and never put it down, just in case there are Muslim terrorists planning an attack? That's an interesting lifestyle choice.

I'm not anti-gun but if anyone thinks that owning one is going to make some difference in their lives they would be wrong. Most of them wouldn't be able to keep someone from taking it from them if they decided to use it. If Trayvon had been a grown man instead of a kid, Zimmerman would have been beaten to death with his own gun.

And Trump doesn't dare to tell the truth, he shares his opinions and there is no daring involved.

Name one good thing about Trumps plans. Explain his policy on anything but building walls and excluding immigrants. What is he going to do to turn things around? If his business sense leads the way, plenty of people are not going to get paid and he will lead us into bankruptcy. Also, there is tons of speculation that the guy is way overstating his worth and that he doesn't pay his fair share of taxes, as in none at all.

I didn't see any reports that Trump or his 'type' were gathered outside that nightclub pointing their guns at the perp, either. In fact I can't recall ANY occasion on which some pro-gun agitator has rocked up to help out at a massacre of any description. Even little everyday killings don't really seem to attract any Gun Lobby enthusiast to interrupt or stop them, so what good are they ?

by joanro on 22 June 2016 - 11:06

Hund, how is any 'gun owner' supposed to know about an active shooter event? Police are the ones in society connected up through network of communication. That's who all the victims in the GUNFREE club were calling when they dialed 911. But many victims lay on the floor and bled out for the three hours the police 'held the perimeter' outside, while the slaughter continued.
'What good are they?' The guns or the gun owners? I'd guess self protection, from scum intending to do harm, but not for the myth of protecting against the rogue government.

I'd say that the victims of government's destructive policies don't 'deserve what befalls them' unless the victims are complicit in propping up the rogue government.

Don't be naive Joan it does not suit you. There may well have been people IN the club who were carrying; there can always be neighbourhood people out in the street where any such event occurs, who might be carrying, or have quick access; the word always goes round very quickly if Police or Fire Services are called to any disaster. Sometimes crowds arrive before the emergency services get there ! There are all sorts of reasons why it MIGHT be possible ... but somehow it never is.
