Jackie...so sorry to hear that..and so glad he is doing better...our prayers are with you and Carl..

Well, Carl is finally home! I brought him home to discover his temp was 101. All night long I encouraged him to drink water, & that brought his temp down & popped his kidneys open, he was voiding ever couple of minutes. This morning we went for bloodwofk & to schedule PT. The knee looks awful, but I guess that's not unusual. His dogs are bewildered, but happy. Lil' Bit keeps laying at his feet, whining, looking up at him like "What's wrong, Dad?" He's been using his walker to get right next to her ( Bitty), & then just talking to her. It's sooo touching. I've been misty-eyed all day! Thank you again, everyone, for the hugs, positive energy, & prayers! I absolutely concur that the power of prayer is awesome! I was a doubter, & science convinced me years ago when cultures in Petrie dishes were randomly separated & named A,B, or C. People were asked to think about 1 group, ignore 1 group, & pray for the final group. The cultures that were prayed for had 30% more growth than the other 2, under identical conditions. How do you explain that? No, I believe! And you guys send some powerful prayers, my dogs & my husband are testament to that! So thank you, thank you, thank you! jackie harris
