No Jerry Lee.....ranger2187 is just me, the one and only.  So before you sully my "good name" perhaps you should investigate further and quite frankly get your facts straight.  While I may be new to this forumn (starting to doubt the potential "advice" I would get from posters here) it would only take you a moment (as it did me) to see a vast difference in writing styles among those you categorize me with.

Bee, thus far having a discussion with you is neither enlightening nor productive (when did I ever bring up "vision"?).  The seemingly disparate thoughts you pull from your 4th point of contact to post make little sense and clearly indicate some sort of misplaced "internet" machismo.  As for my choice of snarky (which means: testy or irritable; short), I think that is spot on and much more polite than obtuse, ignorant, or outright stupid...wouldn't you agree?

by beetree on 29 March 2012 - 23:03

Good, then carry on. I think you are a troll.

by ranger2187 on 29 March 2012 - 23:03

Bah...that is laughable.  Why would I come on-line to "troll" about PTSD on a German Shepherd blog site?  While I commend you on you large number of posts and longevity with this site, perhaps it is you that is the "troll", albeit perhaps not on purpose.

As I said I was new to this site and the only reason why I am in this discussion is because of your lack-luster response to an actual question I posed to the group writ large approximately 2 days ago.  See I am serious about being a German Shepherd owner and committed to finding all sorts of data. When I ran across you response to me, well lets just day I did my due diligence and know understand how to categorize your recommendations.

by beetree on 29 March 2012 - 23:03

I don't know. Why would you? That is the question. You protest too much, there is that, too.

LoL lackluster. It was like Switzerland. Troll.

by ranger2187 on 29 March 2012 - 23:03

Not sure how my coming to the defense of the OP (that's original poster) would constitute "protesting to much" especially as it was yourself, and from what I can ascertain based on older posts of you and your clan of...what's the dog term... oh yeah "in-bred" minions,  attacking some random poster and going on and on about how great the world would be and sure you can come over anytime to dig holes for my "rose garden".

Well, your behavior seemed, irresponsible.  While I am uncertain if you are a breeder or not and while you may posses vast quantities of knowlege on German Shepherds, you kinda loose credibility when you act the way you did and then gossip about it with other posters as if this was some sort of play ground setting.

As for your lack luster response (I would not say Switzerland as they are at least neutral) let me demonstrate:

ME:

Greetings,

I am new to the German Shepherd world, but since I was a child I have always wanted one.  Things in my life are lining up (to include a very large back yard) and I have begun the research process on finding a "good" German Shepherd puppy.  What I am most interested in is a companion/personal protection (maybe) GS and while still new and learning as much as possible, I have communicated with the Miami, FL Breeder:

http://www.vomkirsys.com/

May I elicit some opinions on what the body writ large thinks of this group?  Particularly, I am interested in thoughts on Taureg V. Yanka and Taureg V. Jeannie (puppies will be "ready" about the time I would like to bring one home).

Thank you for your consideration and ANY further advice or sources of information will be greatly appreciated!Greetings,

 To which YOU respond:

This seems to be jdiaz, showlines. Yes? A frequent poster.

Seems a little lack luster to me.  Before you try to engage in a battle of wits, at least come armed.

by beetree on 29 March 2012 - 23:03

I gave the information you needed to find what you needed on this site. Unless you already knew that? I don't know you from Adam, but you must know me, probably read all of my 5800 plus posts, so I feel like you were really, really disappointed in a minimal response, knowing what talents I do possess.

by ranger2187 on 30 March 2012 - 00:03

How is telling me that the owner is jdiaz or that he is in the business of show dogs helpful?  I got ALL of those things after looking at the web site...HIS website, which I posted, after 5 minutes?  Aside from an at best severely marginal response regarding the breeder, you ignore the core question on the two possible puppy "lines" I was interested in.

I will admit I have not read all of your posts, not sure I could, but is there an award for the number of posts or something? You obviously feel compelled to respond to everything, even when its outside of your expertise?  Speaking of which, what is you area of expertise?  Are you a breeder, afficianado, or something else?  I would venture from your lackluster initial response to me and your poor argument construction capabilities that you are young...and perhaps this accounts for your crude behavior?

Being prolific (that means "alot") does not equate to quality....

To the original thread: I would surmise a simple apology for your overreaction/misunderstanding to an apparent innocent post would be in order.

GSD Admin (admin)

by GSD Admin on 30 March 2012 - 00:03

Jerry you are wrong to a point but I think you have it partially figured out. I would appreciate it if you would quit accusing members of being the ghosts from the past and let admin figure the deceivers out.

ranger,

I think it is pretty trollish to not like an answer to a question/comment and then jump into another discussion to pick at someone. And really I know no one who sees any joy in PTSD. Maybe you can enlighten us with your knowledge?

by beetree on 30 March 2012 - 00:03

What it means is, I only have had one identity my entire time here. Why are you picking fights with me, oh newbie? You want to project all sorts of negativity to prolong a useless argument. I got better things to do.

That's right, because that's what trolls do.

by ranger2187 on 30 March 2012 - 00:03

Mr/Ms "Admin" thank you for at least partially clearing my name, as I am none of those folks- its the partially figured out part that bothers me though, as it insinutates other nefarious activity or connection.

As for trolling, I only bring up Bee's response to me after 3 pages of disagreeing (please refer back to the thread) that her response to this threads initial poster was irresponsible (I looked up her other posts after receiving the lack luster response I alluded to and realized it was a pattern- I wanted to judge the source providing me information.  Bee's total disregard and blatant disrespect to the OP compelled me to respond and not her less than complete response to *my* question...I think the thread illustrates it well enough).

As for "joy" in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, well that is called *irony* and NOT sacrasm (how one can connote sarcasm through writing is difficult to ascertain).  Unless there is something that I am missing, the OP clearly states that her husband watches the video in question numerous times (likely she is implying he is suffering from PTSD) and she feels powerless to make him better (hence the statment the war has just begun...she manifesting the concept of war with familial strife that will plague her, him, and the family now for perhaps years to come).  As I said earlier, the video with the posted words does not really make sense seperately; however, together it really does if one bothers to think about it.  Perhaps the OP was venting feelings of frustration (her "IRONIC" joy) and used the forum as an outlet....only to be attacked by what appears to be flippant
