Dear Bee, I'm so sorry for your loss. I heard once that you are never so alone in life as when you lose your mother. Well, please know that we are all here for you, so you needn't feel alone.
(((Hugs))) to you & prayers coming your way. God bless you, jackie harris

Thank you everybody, Ninja, Ruger1, RedS, Judy P, Slamdunc, Ace, Kalibeck and GSDloyalty. I hope I didn't leave any one out. I guess I wasn't all done crying afterall.
The poem was lovely, as were everyone's sympathetic thoughts. And it is as you say Slamdunc. Moments to minutes. Today is a little better than yesterday. You guys are great. My mom didn't want a wake or funeral. It leaves me a little lost, actually. I'm just planning on keeping myself busy so I don't wander in my mind, too much. Going to post a few more FTP songs so I can play them in a row. I'll be lurking around, just can't make the words yet, like I usually do.

Sometimes we are left speechless but
I use to lead congregations many yrs ago and many used to like
To hear me sing this favorite and once or twice I have sung this at a graveside........
I don't know
About tomorrow
I just live from day to day
And I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray
And I don't worry about my future
For I know what Jesus said
And today He walks beside me
For He knows what lies ahead
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to under-understand
But I, I know, I know, I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds, who holds my hand
Oh yes
Who holds my hand

Shawty, thanks so much for your thoughfulness, I really am feeling a whole lot better today! I can see the dog hair and the mountain of laundry, that I swear wasn't there yesterday.
YR, that was truly beautiful. Thank you so much. I think I even could hear your singing voice in my head.
-------
The only weird thing is, two nights in a row my cat has jumped on my face while I've been sound asleep, and left me with bleeding scratches just above my lip and on my chin. I look hideous, like I just met up with Edward Scissorhands. I'm covered in neosporin so it won't scar me for life.
And now I feel I must correct some of the lyrics to the FTP songs. I have since obtained the real ones, and it is quite funny what people think they hear... I knew some of those sounded ... odd ... the real lyrics are so much better.

Beetree,
I'm real sorry for your loss. It is a bitter thing to lose someone you love, but her memory will just get sweeter all the time.

Thanks Hank, that is a comforting thought. It still is hard to not think of things like, what a beautiful spring day today is, as I see the first blooms. And then, it pops in my head: mom will never see this beauty again. I don't think she believed in a heaven, so it is what it is. Time is helping though, I'm coming back to myself.
