CA-ching. My best guess, since I've been wondering the same, and Jenni just ain't saying.
Dawulf, I hate to say it, but what you describe, just isn't riding. Those trail hags are the worst.

SP, I'm sorry. I didn't see your question until I was alerted to it. I appreciated Charity thinking of me in posting that video, but I kept forgetting to look over here for updates because I never check off-topic. If it's not about dogs, I don't have a lot of time to spend chatting w/strangers! To answer your question, I'm not really "into" Friesians; I just have the one stallion. He's a pet. I got him when I was pregnant. I thought my son would have fun growing up with him since they're the same age, and he would be a good horse for us to ride together. They're gentle and calm and very people-oriented. He follows us around like a dog and is just a sweetheart. I figured if I was going to take on another hayburner, I might as well get one with a lot of potential.

I always thought forum hags were the worst, Bee. Trail hags serve a purpose and don't bother anyone.

Yeah right, just so happened that way. I just checked out prices for these horses is all, and looks like a bit of change. Talking around 20K, even, depending on quality. And I know you are all about quality. You said yourself you weren't a great rider. This type of horse is like deciding on a Lamborghini for a commuter car. Just sayin'.
Have you ever got off a trail hag and tried to get back on? The only purpose they have is to get back to the barn. LOL

Yeah, right, just so happened WHAT way?! WTF is your point? Do you have one? What are you getting at? Do I owe you money that you're concerned about what I spend on my horses? I'm lost on this one. I can't see any relevance to your statements or allusions. Please enlighten me if you've got any motive whatsoever besides cattiness.
My commuter car was a Z06, btw. Fantastic gas mileage if I behaved myself.

Um, Jenni, you mentioned the possible sale of your friesian horse on a public OT thread. I am allowed to make my own personal relevances. Why does that bother you so much? A little chit chat you know? What do think is a fair price for a three year old fresian stallion, green broke?

by Jenni78 on 05 February 2012 - 22:02
Nice try. LOL
Your "guess" (CA-ching! I believe it was...) about why I became interested in Friesians was obnoxious, and your follow up to my explanation to SP was more obnoxious and quite transparent as well. I'm sorry for whatever is going on in your life to render you so petty and bitter as to begrudge my son and I our beloved pet.

Wait a minute, I don't own all the obnoxiousness in this world. I don't begrudge any one a "pet". Just strange coming from YOU. Nice try back at you.
I'm off to the party you can save your snark for later. Ta ta.

Well, the superbowl doesn't interest me in the least, so I can be pathetic enough to reply to this thread again.
I just don't understand what about my answer sparked Beetree's snipes. Why the sarcasm? What's the big deal that I have a pet that is beyond my abilities as a rider?
Why is what I did for a pet any different than someone who buys a top quality show or working line dog but just wants it as a companion?
If someone , in your words, wants to drive a Lamborghini for a commuter car, so be it. How does that harm you, Beetree?

Not that I have any place in this argument, but I have to agree with you, Jen. My pets are way outta my league, and I lost count of how many people said "you're paying HOW MUCH for a dog?!" But I tend to ignore them.
Better to have quality than crap. I'll take a lambourghini over a clunker anyday.
And for the record, Jen, my comment was not directed toward you, but I will back out before I get... "Snarked" at...
(If were talking cars I drive a 95 Monte... I go through a 5th of a tank a night, minimum, whether I behave myself or not. LMAO)
