I currently have two...Dogtra 2300 NCP (single dog) and a TriTronics Pro 500 G3 EXP (3 dog). I don't think you can beat the Dogtra for the price.

I'm using SportDog SD-425 (3 dog set) but mostly use it when running dogs in the woods. The charge lasts for up to 2 weeks which is great and when dead they charge in 2 hours! Love that feature! You only have vibrate 1 - 7 so not many options there vs the educator.

When I use an eCollar I have a Sport Dog but cannot recall the model. The range is about 500 feet and it has 1-7 settings with (low, medium, and high depending on the button you use) for a total of 21 setting per se along with the vibrate.
