A friend of mine worked on these. She used the FCI German Shepherd standard and modified a few just a bit to fit Shilo shepherds.
The illustrations I posted are some that I believe conform to the FCI German Shepherd breed shandard.
I asked her if she'd like to make modify her work exclusifly for the GSD standard and create an ebook. She's really busy right now, and when she has some time, she consider it.
Without knowing the complete breed standard and studying each illustration, looking at all of her work could be confusing for a beginner, so I only posted some basics.
Linda Shaw's sight is also impressive and helpful.

That explains the fuzzy ears and trunky legs.

yes, that explains the ears and the thick legs, though a coated GSD would look quite a bit like these illustations.
the basics are correct...
basic structure and the different falts.......
it gives someone looking at a dog a good reference to go by.
