Need balance on this board - Page 2

There are actually a lot of different faiths on this board. The rest of them are just being amazingly courteous by not copy and pasting scripture ad nauseum. Guess what, WE'VE READ THE BIBLE. I personally have five different versions in my house. I also have the Gnostic Gospels and Old Testament Pseudepigrapha.

I'm all for actual discussion.

BE, Well my intent wasn't to even address you. If you notice, I always try to directly address the person I'm writing to. You weren't even a thought when I posted this. It was mainly an observation of how many threads there are about the same thing. I don't mind you guys talking religion. Just don't understand the need to start so many threads. Kinda hypocritical since I started this one. I was trying to be light-hearted about it in the first post by joking a bit, but I guess this is too serious of a topic. The good Lord must not have a sense of humor.

You can't just chant and do strange rituals you actually have to do some of your own

reading.....To fully grasp it's meaning.

When people feel the need to complain about a couple of bible thumpers,

it means the holly spirit is trying to resuscitate the soul.

People don't talk about God enough....and never will. Now sin gets

every body's attention. The rich skull and bones ivy league kids that

will be running the next generations work place, would wholeheartedly agree you.

But this is balance like you say.......good and evil. this board will not keep

up with much bible talk, but a little may be just what it needs.

 

Stahl still has not got back to me on my question....and 2-3 bible topics are a great

plenty. More than that is too much, this is not seminary.net

Max, maybe you were posting while I was, but I don't have a problem with people talking religion. Just don't understand the need for multiple threads, and apparently I'm not the only one.

        I agree a couple are ok, but to flood the OT is not cool.

And it is not the way it is done.....After all Jesus would just wake up

one morning put on his walking shoes and not try to twist anybody's arm.
