Hi Moons

I know how you must feel.

Please read THE 21 AND 22 CHAPTER OF REVELATIONS,That is what God has planned for us. I HAVE ALL THE CONCERNS AND STILL HAVE SOME OF THE SAME QUESTION THAT YOU HAVE.  Our only hope is in Christ. You know darn well the world is not going to change,it getting worse everyday.   Im not a fanatic like you might think, Im a bigger sinner than you are. I know the word of God,and love Him with all my heart, but my flesh still has some control overme,I fail more then you would ever believe.

  HAVE A WONDERFULL WEEKEND

Moons wrote: And your stance on evolution, so many people, the greatest minds on the planet, religious and non-religious, yet they somehow have it wrong and your right.

That is very, very weak answer on your behalf moons, do your homework and bring me logical explanation, otherwise flaw men made a huge error in evolution theory. (Majority of people is NOT always right)

Anyway I' am done.

Moons,
Your thoughts are very deep!! Your questions are valid and I do not think I could answer your questions in a way that would satisfy you..Much of what is to be believed about the God of the Bible is believed by faith..Men do not just wake up one day and decide to believe the claims of Christianity...We who do believe, would not, if God did not compel us to it...The fact that you ask such questions is in, and of itself , suspicious of the work of God in your life...As usual I have enjoyed the dialog with you. You are a thinker and I like that..Keep asking questions, you might just get all the answers you seek..: )

Shatal..Have a nice weekend..: )

The first step to be reborn again is to become the believer, one who has accepted Jesus Christ as a personal saver. The second step to be truly reborn is to crucify your sin on the cross and repent from sin. (Repent means - make 180 degrees turn) "You have to confess your sins"

Life of the human divides into two measurements; exterior is the flesh style of life and interior is the spiritual style of life. Exterior is to live the life how our flesh desires, and interior / spiritual is to live and dress the life how God wants.

Romans Chapter 8
[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Not I who set myself free, but the law of spirit; his heavenly power has set me free from the law of sin. And the spirit law of life - it doesn’t destroys the sin; sin did NOT died, sin continues to tempt, but I died for the sin and if I died for the sin - then the sin will no longer scares me with charms/attractions or desires. The power of Holy Spirit overcomes/conquers the sin desires and it overcomes the sin appetency / inclination. And because of that human does NOT fall - but fly’s on the wings of faith above this sinful world and has direct contact with the living God.

Our flesh didn’t born upwards / over, and our flesh does NOT inherent the kingdom of God, but the Bible says that our flesh can bereave / divest the kingdom of God. So our goal / task is to learn with our flesh to say / tell no. This is what we have too should do… If we say no to our flesh then suddenly embarked the power of God’s spirit, but if we say to our flesh yes – then the Holy Spirit indent / steps back to the side and we fulfill the desires of our flesh.

In order to live by the spirit - Bible says we should crucify our egoism, meaning our pride. To die for ourselves is only possible on Golgotha with the Christ. You see the sheep when dies, it dies very quietly, question is why? The sheep agrees to become a victim. Have you ever heard how the pig dies – it simply bawls and refuses – it does NOT want to be victim. And sometimes the people are the same way…

Edit: Thank you for reading :-)

Sorry for the lengthy post...

,....I believe you cannot experience the new birth until you accept Christ as your personal Saviour.  There are many many professing Christians, Catholics ,and Protestants alike that are not born again."       Really??....

Gouda, It IS because one IS born again that accepting Christ IS possible...The being born again comes FIRST and is a passive act on the part the person...The Holy Spirit initiates the rebirth and consequently it creates faith in the heart of the person....No unregenerate person would ever think to come to a believing faith in Christ...God must change the mind/heart of the person or none would turn to God. ....Many/Most " Christian" groups teach that people need to reach down deep into themselves and choose to turn to Christ...Then when the message is rejected those same " Christians" look down on others for not making the decision to believe and repent....This works out well because human nature loves to puff itself up and put others down...This is the doctrine that makes most "Christians" look/act like they are better then everyone else...In other words most " Christians" are proud of themselves for "CHOOSING" to believe and have a short fuse for those that don't follow suit.....This is the reason why many many Christians are loathed by others...Christians should be the most humble and grateful among all people because we know that if it were not for the MERCY of God we would be faithless too..However, when false teaching is accepted, Christians become proud of themselves and become severely intolerant to everyone else...Hence, this is where the radical, bible thumper, bible basher, fanatic , or holy roller gets their name....

ggturner said, " Christians believe that in order to go to heaven, you have to admit you are a sinner and in need of Jesus Christ to save you from your sins.   Once you have confessed your sins, asked for forgiveness, and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are a Christian  (saved from eternal damnation).  The term "born again" simply means you have done the above and are a Christian"...Again, really??....

ggturner, It is BECAUSE you are a Christian that you admit, confess, and ask...If God had not already changed your heart ( being born again) you would NOT admit, confess or ask ....We are passive in the rebirth and that is why To God be the Glory!!!...Nothing in our human nature would ever bring us to God, except God and until this is understood by Christians we can not  Glorify God properly, Witness effectively, or understand the rest of scripture in its fullness...

GSDtravels, I agree with you about the article...The Catholic interpretation was the best example of the Biblical teaching of being born again,,,Saying one is " a born again Christian" is like saying a single bachelor, intact stud, or a three sided triangle..All bachelors are single, all studs are intact and all triangles are three sided. hence, all believers are born again..So the term born again is redundant and unnecessary....
