Cheyedoe, I can see how you love your dogs. Don't get upset with the discussion going on. A big problem is the AKC, and we all know it. But what to do about it? Few people know the answer. The internet and getting information out on the breed, perhaps a beginning. Just like your query. Have your husband look at this site and wander through it alittle and visit the dogs on the data base. Thanks for the pics of your dogs. No matter what, they seem to be kings of your hearts, and I think that is what really counts.

I'm not upset. As I said I was looking for a black and silver. I visited app 75-100 sites this was after looking for the GSD. Out of all the breeders the one I found was the best with OFA hips and elbows which I check out with OFA. Maybe some of the better breeders here should add some meta tags to their websites. I personally took 2-3 months looking before I made a decision. When people are looking having additional tags to cover the different colors might help reduce the sale from other bad breeders. Like this site I didn't find until I was looking up Cheyenne's ancestors. Just an idea to control bad breeding.

Kougar, you are absolutely right. When I advertise a litter for sale, I get phone calls like: $ ..., I just want to buy a pet. Well hello, even a pet should be healthy, well tempered and also look like a GSD. These are the same people who have a problem with getting a limited AKC registration. Chris
