Mag,
I'm glad I could give you a chuckle. After re-reading it, I do understand why you would find it so funny. Sorry I didn't word my response simple enough for you to understand what I meant. Since you are the only one that thought my comment funny, I do apologize to you. Instead of poking fun at my comment that I had good intentions posting, you might want to make an attempt at giving an opinion to the original question.
Have a nice day, and please lets try to be nice.

She's not the only one who found your phrasing funny; she is just the only one brave enough to draw your
attention to it ! And I thought she WAS quite 'nice' about it. Have you had a "sense of humour bypass op" ??
As to answers to the original question : it's difficult, because it is such a broad set of questions; it really only allows for the somewhat generalised answers already given by mirasmom, euroshepherd and kaffirdog. Not much
point in repeating them.
On your own post again, Hutchins, I would point out that your limited registration (our 'endorsement) does not
prevent anyone from breeding, it just means they cannot register with AKC (our KC) - but for 'pet' breeding
purposes they do not care ...

And that is why in MY original comment, (which seemed to tickle someone), I wrote:
As a stud owner, I would never breed our boy to a female sold as a pet that is not spayed,
I did not explain it in as simple or detailed terms as you did, but I do thank you for expIaining it for me so everyone can understand..I was trying to point out, exactly what you said, that just because a puppy is sold on limited, does not prevent that puppy from being bred in the future.
With that said, we do not deliberately breed to produce pets. But as we all should realize that there is a really good possibility that not every litter will produce 100% breed worthy pups. Those are the puppies we sell on limited reg and are spayed or neutured BEFORE they leave our possession.
