I agree with Ham and SGBH. Yeah... I know this isn't a spelling contest nor a grammar contest but when it comes to names... It's common courtesy to spell them correctly for the sake of the people who do not know this dog. it's very difficult for those to search the dog up with misspellings.

Anyway......Hannibal has been placing 1st in several shows leading up to the Siger Show in Ulm and will probably place a top V but only because(in my opinion)of his lack of progeny due to his age. He is too young to have enough progeny or at least progeny old enough to compete in the youth classes (12-18 month and 18-24 month). I own a Hannibal/VA Hexe son and he is extremely nice as are alot of Hannibal's progeny. So I look for him to get top V this year (top 15-20V)and then next year if entered (I hear he will be)then he will obtain VA. My opinion. Hope this helps Tiny. Respectfully, Dan

Brittany..there is a nicer way to say things than the way ham did...SGBH, you put it nicely..ham could have left of "don't make a joke of yourself"...that's what we were talking about..the nit picking and name calling etc. just the facts ma'am...

brittany if they dont know the dog then tiny wasn't talking to them. She was asking for people's input on the male. So if you dont know the dog then by all means dont respond to the message. I have yet to see a picture of hannibal that impresses me. I haven't seen him in person but from everything ive seen of him im not impressed at all. He has a terrible head type from the profile. Take a look at the belguim seiger show. Look at the picture they have on him there. He might produce well. I cant judge his progeny as ive only seen 2 or 3 which is not enough to make a comment. I just dont think he is a top 30 Male in terms of the sieger show but my taste in dogs goes more into type and correct to the standards. So things like color, head size are second to correctness and type. Just my opinion and thoughts though.

ceddy, Again is common courtesy to spell the dogs names correctly. If you're expecting people to reply to your thread... then for god sakes, Use a spell check! Theirs some free programs out there suck as IESPELL that's for free and works great. I'm not going to argue much further on this particular part of this thread. As far as Hannibal... sorry if you don't like him.. Don't judge the dog by sloppy photographer work. blame the person who took it. I've seem some pretty crappy pictures taken on some nice looking dogs. A professional photographer would never upload a crappy picture online. Here's a better picture of Hannibal. http://www.svhunde-goebel.de/hannibal.jpg

brittany i have seen this picture several times and i still dont find him to a nice dog.To me he is just a average male to me but by all means keep your opinion of him. That is the beauty of the breed each person can breed their type of dog. Happy hunting.
