I expected no less of you Blitzenunbenouncing? is that a real word? Sounds rather painfull

by Charlie Ivory on 03 December 2004 - 07:12

and by putting the two words together I made it even more painfull

by Blitzen on 03 December 2004 - 07:12

I don't know if Blitzenunbenouncing was a word before tonight, but it is now and I like it - a lot. BTW, shall we call you MR. King Tut, King Tut or just King or Tut?

by Charlie Ivory on 03 December 2004 - 07:12

Mr. King Tut shall do for the time being......I will let you know if I desire a change...........

by patrishap on 03 December 2004 - 07:12

Blitz, King Charles even managed to bring smile to my cynical face. It's not all bad, is it? Unbenounced has me baffled too! Unbeknown? I reckon Wildthing simply gets high on cheap liqour, and then can't resist getting some kicks by posting delightful message! Either that, or reaching out to you for frienship, Blitz! Things to do - shall return.

the Banana look wasn't refering to the back, when it was used here, it refered to the narrow head built like a banana. many of the shepherds had Collie like heads. the look of the arched back was, roached back, stove up, carped back. the movement is affected by allowing more under reach with less follow through in the rear. the American shepherd was allowed to get longer with less angulation in front to extend the movement. looser ligiments allow more extention on both ends, with weaken ligiments the middle piece loses the firmness needed to hold the shepherd togather. parts flying every where dosn't look like a shepherd. I see Lenny is a Judge, his shepherds don't have the roached back. its who buys the shepherds sold in Germany, if a person has some knowledge of the standard they won't import the roached backed shepherds. the Grey working shepherds for the most part look aged, no breed improvement in 30 yrs. any breeder should improve their stock. many of them are over agressive, some are sharp tempermented, looking to bite someone or something to hide a fear biteing tendency. as to the comment, in the begining the breed looked like the mals, not hardly, study your standard, ask about breed improvement.

Ok, see you Peter, in the future, please take care of whatever it is you are running off to do on your own time.I've noticed you have been spending less time on this board and Blitz and I find this bothersome....

by Charlie Ivory on 03 December 2004 - 08:12

Gem look at the start of the thread,The person was without doubt talking about the back,Collies are not even in the picture.YOU study the standard, look at the pictures,DH is/was dead on about her Malinois comment. The grey aged dogs with no breed improvement in 30 years is what is holding the breed together.........lol. your name suits you well, your a GEM

by Gem on 03 December 2004 - 08:12

if you look again you will see I said "here" the use of banana was for the head. ivory says little about your information posted.

by Brandoggy on 03 December 2004 - 09:12

for the love of God people!! I did learn something...GSD's don't have banana backs, Collies do..see this forum IS informative. Mr. King Tut...I don't know you but just "Tut" sounds good. Shorter to type also. Thanks for the laughs...
