Blitzen,
what your referring to has to do with importers not manufacturers.
The stocks, folding stocks, the bayonets, the muzzle brakes, and flash suppressors, that the first so called assault weapons ban effected.
It was a total joke and this attempt is no different.
I am not the worlds leading authority on guns by any means Blitzen, I only sold them as a licensed dealer and worked as a gun smith repairing them, loading munitions, testing and evaluating munitions.
I've only been a gun owner for 50 years or so, then there's the class three stamps for machine guns that I shoot, I have much to learn.
