LOL! Maybe he's related to UScA's co-founder although I'm betting he doesn't even realize they share the same last name.

I am not the kind of person that looks for ways to sneak around the rules (like registering my dogs in my children's names because I'm under suspension) by having one member of the family join an organization and another member join a different one. You don't want me here, I won't be back. On a different but somewhat parallel note (and believe me, I don't want or mean to offend anyone here) years ago when the barriers in pro sports were eliminated did we not find out how much better the sports became? Is USCA really about the betterment of the working ethic in the sport of SchH or is it more about control by a handful of egotists bent on putting their stamp on "the" breed in America?
One thing that bugs me about advertising in the media is the constant comparing of "my product vs. yours". For instance MacDonald's vs. Burger King or if you prefer Burger King vs. Macdonald's. Why all the "mine's better than their's" crap all of the time. How about, you tell me what you have, I'll try it, then they can tell me what they have, I'll try it and LET ME MAKE UP MY OWN FREAKIN' MIND ABOUT WHICH ONE IS BETTER!!! Don't force feed me your crap, give me some credit as an intelligent consumer to decide on my own where to spend my hard earned dollar.
I'll sit down now.

A very well put post.
That post was like "driving a truck all over a well laid track"....It will get our attention, Phil and it was said nicely.
Sometimes the best of the best need to be reminded how we or they or us got to the top.

If you remember, and I'm sure you do, the microphone was taken away from individuals who were trying to speak and voices suppressed by Lyle on more than one occasion. Take my money and tell me to sit down and when you want my opinion you will give it to me,,,,,,,am I wrong? Maybe you should have been at the Sieger Show.
See Bob, even though I am not a conformation guy, I am a working dog guy and I go where things that involve working dogs are being held, that way I have an educated opinion. When I have clients involved in areas of training, I go to support,,,,even if it involves handling conformation dogs for ring practice. Guess that's just me, but I'm not "committed" to the dogs as much as you.

This is all to do about nothing,
LMC:
Who is being treated unfairly because of the breed they choose to have? and how.
Phil:
I,m glad you treat you customers fairly, I never said you didn,t . But you and others try to make the case that your losing your livelihood because of the JA you can still train and charge what you want, Is there a issue that people will think less of you because you don,t have a "Proud member of the USCA" sticker on your door step?
This whole thing will come out in the wash at some point in time I really don,t think any dog will care whose orginization there handler belongs to and they should,nt because it should not effect them in the least bit.
I,ve never had Lyle in the shower but i,ve never had you there either... since I have never even met either of you we would need to go out on a couple dates first and your going to have to pick up the check if you want the experience.and I promise not to treat you any different since your no longer a USCA member...

Besides learning about the breed and training, one aspect of schutzhund impressed me more than others. It was the concept of "Sportsfreund". This described the relatiionship between and among members. " Sportsfriend" over rode any personal animosity between members or clubs. It was a code of courtesy among members.
Now let me direct your attention to the aforementioned Grewe interview, part II. It has some good stuff in it. But it also contains venom. Ladies and gentlemen, trash-talking is no longer limited to the NBA and NFL. Also read the minutes of the April 2010 AWDF Board meeting (google). Specifically, read the comment of one of the breed representatives pertaining to the civil war issue introduced by the USA member. "This is a German Shepherd issue. Don't drag the rest of us into it!"

When I shave my head as in my pic, If your into older heavier Ule Brenner types we might be able to get a THANG goin here... As far as money goes??? thats why Phil or Lyle will have to pick up the check!.
My Friend at some point I hope to trial with you, Keith, and Phil no matter whose flag is flying over the field... And yes this is all a distraction from what should be the point of focus...the dog.

See, I get that concept, that it's the United Schutzhund CLUBS of America...but damned if they don't demand that you pay an INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE to that Club-oriented organization if you want to be an 'on the books' member of one of those United Schutzhund CLUBS. Folks who either don't have a local club within traveling distance (or a club that's accepting new members) can also pay individual dues to the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, but in exchange for those dues they effectively get no voice in the decisions that are made because they're not affiliated with a club. So what are those folks getting for their dues?
I can't vote on AKC decisions, but they also don't insist I pay an individual membership to them if I'm a member of the GSDCA. And I don't get to vote on GSDCA matters if I'm not a member of the GSDCA, but they also don't require me to have a GSDCA membership if I want to be a member of a local breed club. That's what I find the most objectionable...the fact UScA mandates membership in their organization if you're a bona fide member of the local group.
