"Where did I say you'd be tortured for eternity?"

Probably conjured up in her derisory follies...

Travels~~ I watched the video in it's entirety. I agree with it and the reason being this :

Not at all because I support "secular" ideals or agendas, but rather I am fully confident that God will have His way in all that transpires "under the sun"! Society will carry on as it should, and as it is expected to, and will be *allowed to, until God in His good time, and according to His perfect Will, determines to end the foolishness. This is my confidence and what allows me to have peace and tolerance in a truly secular (Godless) society...

Oh, that isn't what you actually mean when you say we're going to hell?  Because that's what your version of your God* says in the the Bible that's so clear cut and easily understood?

*How many times have you 100% agreed with any other Christian here?  And then you go on to defend your position and still never fully come to agreement!  You agree to disagree on the unerring, go to hell if you don't believe it doctrine of someone's opinion of multiple translations from an ancient language that's no longer spoken!!!   But YOU  are the only one with the "true" word, AMEN!  Seriously RS, seriously?

Thank you Ruger, for a well-reasoned and honest reply.  I respect that and there's not too much of it going on around here.  You're okay in my book!  :)

Well Travels, you gave me some compliments and I thank you for them,

In fact for the most part your post is dead on.

Yes I'm very good at being an asshole, I'm a very fair and honest person. Therefore I'm usually only an "asshole" to those that I honestly feel deserve it.

What I really find ironic about your post is I feel the same way about you. I won't elaborate about what I dislike about you, this thread already contains enough negatism...

However you do have a kind, warm side, such as your concern and care for your parents. Also your concern for animals, IE the little bird you took in recently. I could go on, but I sense you get the point.

I don't think you're a bad person. I think that some event or some things in your life have made you bitter and miserable.

I hope you solve your personal problems and get back on track.

I do however think you crossed the line in your nastiness to BEE.

The BIBLE and JESUS make it clear  that Jesus as God, came to earth to die for our sins so that we don't go to Hell.  It absolutely does, that is why He came.  To save us from Hell.  True, couldn't be truer, however, I don't know where I made that judgment call on you personally, or anyone else, as I try to be pretty careful about that.

So, if I said, what the Bible says, I'm not going to apoligize, nor do I consider that name calling or nasty.  That Travels, is a soul saving pertinent bit of info. :)

I like you Travels,  you generally are very nice about how you communicate on here.  I don't agree with what you say, but I try to say what I say with kindness too.  Some things though, can not be sugar coated and that is one of them.  Someday you'll see why.

One mistake you've made though Ruger, secular doesn't mean "godless", it just means that those who do have "God" keep it out of the public discussion and in their hearts, homes an churches.  We all don't agree and we have that right.  Putting into the public sphere creates the shunning you witness here.  And then, ironically, the shunners claim persecution, by holding their own opinions higher than others.  That's the equality bit they don't get.  That's all we're saying.
