My head hurts.

Shtal can you please use a different font color when you have having a conversation with me, with me, and when you are having a converstaion with me, with yourself. i don't want to be rude and interupt a privaate conversation somebody is having with me with themselves.

better yet get some professional help.

here is Shtal proof of gods existence, it is a classic and should be shown in all critical thinking classes of abuse of reason, i will make a funny cartoon out of this oone;

" Most atheists would say logic exists, so they believe it just exists and here is my answer for you of existence of God then, he just exists."

ie proof god exists shtal style;

 god exists because he justs exists: evidence; because atheists say that logic exists - mindbending anti-thought.

what happens for the rest of the atheists that aren't part of shtal's "most atheists" for them;

" Some atheists would say logic doesn't exist, so they believe it just doesn't exist and here is my answer for you of existence of God then, he just doesn't exist."

this is great stuff.

The proof is in the pudding, so they say.  When you won't even look at the evidence against the claims that are made, it all falls apart.  Some people don't care if what they believe is true, others do.  I do.   If the argument weren't brought, our opinions would never be heard.  That's the difference.  What we believe or not is not being shoved down anyone's throat, isn't being legislated and isn't being used to deny rights to others.  If Christians would just conduct their lives like they say they're supposed to, like treating others with kindness and respect, regardless of their opinions, color, "sins", etc., if they lived the lives they're attempting to force others to live, instead of beating people over the head with their doctrine and thinking it's okay to make us, at the very least, play along, we would have not one, single issue at all.  In my personal life, pretty much everyone I know and love, with the exception of a very few, are believers.  We discuss religion sometimes, but keep it in the context of the understanding that it's an opinion.  We don't fight about it, if anything, we have a laugh at each other.  Jokes are made back and forth, it's not an issue.

If I were so against religion, I don't think I'd be sitting with my father every week while my mother attends mass.  The trappings of Christianity are mine by tradition and warm my heart because of that.  I am in awe of the live Nativity Scene at the Presbyterian Church at a major intersection near my home.  I brings me a sense of peace, it's beautiful and not offensive to me in the least.  I stop every year to watch for at least 10-15 minutes.  But that's because its in its rightful place, where it should have nothing BUT respect, instead of being paraded in public like some cheap trinket.  They might as well hang a sign above "Merry Christmas" in town square that says "Made in China".  It's a whore feeling, in a way, with no self-respect.  When there is a Church on almost every corner and they can be decked out in all of their holiday glory, pressing it into the public space cheapens it, because it is not held dear to everyone there.  You disrespect your own religion and then scream about how you're being persecuted.  Gimme a break!  You can't force others to believe, it will never happen.  It is annoying to have it thrown in your face at each and every turn.

I recently found out that my oldest nephew is an Atheist and I get a mile of jokes out of that one!  His father, my B-I-L always says "God Bless You" when we're parting or getting off the phone.  And I say "Thanks Joe, have yourself a Godless day!".  But I watch him and my sister tiptoe around their own son, it's awkward to watch.  I don't think my sister would have ever dreamed that she'd raise a heathen!  I find that rather funny.  My youngest sister works for her parish and is very active in the Church.  My brother is the only one who doesn't attend regularly, but he's a believer and serious about it.  I don't berate them, I don't hate them, it doesn't bother me, but I'm not them!

So turn around and look at who it is that's being intolerant and nasty.  We don't buy what's being sold and if you'd just finally stop the hard sell, we wouldn't be telling the reasons we don't buy it!

When you start to show respect for that which you profess to believe, maybe you could actually expect it in return.

Yes, precisely beetree, you've proven that you never wanted an honest conversation, you just wanted to "win".

I have never seen an honest post from you you're always working an angle to "catch" people and you don't answer any questions yourself, I assume because you think everybody is as cynical.  You'd be wrong.  You have asked for honesty on many occasions and I have complied.  You brand it arrogance, when it's just confidence.  I research, I've been doing that all of my life.  If I'm going to base my entire life behavior on anything, you can bet I want to know if it's worth it, if it's TRUE.  I have never found "belief" to be true, sorry.  I actually don't understand how that should affect you at all, unless you are, truly, that insecure that you need 100% validation for you to keep on believing it.  And if that's the case, you've got a long road ahead.  You use the personal information that others post against them in a particularly nasty way.  I can get pretty mean when I'm really pissed off, but I'm not nasty like you, just for the sake of being nasty.  You can't win an argument and instead of just agreeing to disagree, you act like a 2 year old child having a temper tantrum.  We're not fighting your religion or anyone's religion, we're explaining why we don't hold the same views.  I can understand the frustration of not being able to convince someone of something, what I don't understand is the anger and nastiness that comes with it.  If you weren't trying to convince us, we wouldn't be arguing about it.  What part of that don't you get?  We have 1st Amendment rights too, even if you want to deny that.  Our speech and our opinions are as valid as yours or anyone's and we're not the ones pushing it, you are.  And with a typical reaction, you want to bully us into silence.  Ain't gonna happen, sorry.

So, why are you so angry that not only can't you sell us your product, you can't silence our voices?  Whaddup with that?  Are you that insecure?

Keep yawning, that just means you have no response because you've lost the argument, pisses ya off, huh?  And besides, you probably missed your afternoon nap.
