Are you saying that you have wealth? and have got together goods / land and stuff? and have need of nothing? and you are not conscious of your sad and unhappy condition my dear hundmutter, I say that you are poor and blind and without clothing. If you are indeed wise then Bible urges for you to get from God gold tested by fire, so that you may have true wealth; and white robes to put on, so that your shame may not be seen; and oil for your eyes, so that you may see.

Eh?  How does not being one of the complacent, unquestioning,

unpolitiscised herd equate to my being wealthy ?   I just told you

I would welcome being just solvent  [ie able to pay my way without

having to constantly worry about money].  I am certainly not blind

or without clothing (though its a long while since I bought anything

new to wear) but I am 'poor', [in financial terms anyway] and have been

for most of my life.  I would not consider myself 'wealthy' even at those

times when I have had enough dosh to 'get by' more comfortably.

Maybe that is why those selling god have left me alone mostly, you can't

get blood out of a rockTeeth SmileWink Smile.

Ok so the bible does not mention easter but pagans do. the gospels flat contradict each other about the resurrection.

the jews of jesus time were unimpressed by jesus so called miracles.

the later the gospels were written the more fantastic the story.

there are no historical records that support the resurrection outside the contradictions in the gospel.

jesus died for the sins that the everyone committed by the fact they are born and unworthy to do so.

jesus spent a measly 6 or so hours on the cross and then went to paradise for eternity.

unbaptised babies spend eternity in hell.

fair??

Just???

Loving???

Moral???

Good???

Or just plain stupid??

Unbaptised or baptised even, babies do NOT go to Hell.

Jesus appeared to over 500 people after he was resurrected,

Vk, no one is going to convince you.

If you are prepared to die, confident that the Bible is all hooey, OK, but I sure wouldn't want to be you.

RS thousands of people have seen elvis and are here to write it and say it themselves none of the gospels were written by the 500, story passed on and on until no eye witnesses were left when it was recorded.

If yr going to preach then lets start with scripture i posted.

I doubt YOU could convince but some evidence or at least a straight story would help.
