Aha, VJP (or HZP?)! I just talked to my father and he does still have his old books and I was planning on going over either tonight or tomorrow anyway, so I was going to search through and see if I could find the info. So, my isn't so foggy after all! Thank you!

I agree that Chris wrote an excellent post.
I would point out, however, (as was cited innumerable times by those angry with USCA) this is AMERICA, and "nobody can tell [me] what to do..." That is the cultural difference in a nutshell. People in the United States will not tolerate the type of regulation necessary. Add to that another cultural aspect, disposablity of just about everything, including pets, and what do you get? The present mess, with over-crowded shelters, abused/neglected animals, every Tom, Dick and Gertrude breeding willy-nilly, and breeds being destroyed.
