Is the thread title hitting a little close to home?

Bob,

I do not play favorites. I read what is posted and draw conclusions from the actions and words.

I addressed both of them and not one. I did not single one out as I feel both are at fault.

If you think I play favorites I have 6 moderators who know the truth and all will tell you whose side I am on.

To me it is not about sides. In my eyes there is only one side and that is Oli's side.

Still waiting for that heat Bob, put your money where your mouth is, what favoritism?

by DDRCat on 21 April 2011 - 19:04

Anyone ever rescued a pregnant dog from an owner sitting in their driveway sobbing, brought the dog into your own home for whelping. Provided vet care, cleaned up, fed them all at your OWN expense. Started trying to remedy the situation with xrays. For the obviously ignorant people here you can't xray an already pregnant dog so just the male could be done and of course.... You don't OWN the male so thats another expense you get to fork out. You make sure the pups go to excellent homes and for doing this you get to contend with some DOUGH head poster on a forum deciding to say how crappy of a person you are because the dogs were not health tested first??

When a professional breeder steps forward to help out a client with a dog from one of their own breedings in an opps situation they should be commended. She very well could have taken the easy out and said no, too bad, your problem not mine.

Shit in, shit out only makes sense in this situation from those of you using this as an example of bad breeding practice and blabbing it out your highly uninformed mouths.

Okay:

You can,t spend time checking user names but you can tell everyone how many mulitple usernames a person has??????. Give me a break here. Mods are here to moderate forum post,s but continually contribute to the posts in conversations?? professional? ethical? should a moderator post his or her or there opinions to a post or Moderate ?.

How often do you see the ref,s shooting hopes during games?

The mod admitted that the psot was started to stir the shit or be inflamitory but still allows it to exist and flurish... Live by the rules or die by the rules.

Only a blind FOOL can,t read into the first page of this post and figure it was to start shit so you have two choise,s  to select, Mod can,t  follow terms of service OR mod agree,s with poster and lets it skid down hill?...

It's also best to keep things general when facts posted about specific situations used in examples are IGNORED in favor of mudslinging.

Moderators are people and have opinions. Just because we are moderators does not mean we should not be allowed to have opinions.

No a ref may not shoot free throws, but if they are any good at what they do they have to communicate with the players and coaches.

It is not my personal opinion that I shared about the members I referred to, it is obvious to anyone who reads this and is not blinded by their own bias, what is going on here.

What about that favortism?

by Bob McKown on 21 April 2011 - 19:04

I could give a shit less what the content of the post is just from reading the first page you can tell it was posted for a agenda.

What are the rules for posting inflamitory posts or statements???

So what conclusion can one come up with other then the Mods know and allow it so there go your terms of service!. I,d call that favoritism.

And No you either moderate or contribute to the post but in my opinion not both.

I have a great article on this very subject. Matter of fact it came off another GSD forum. Mods most certainly can and do have an opinion. The trick is to keep that opinion out of decision making and only the best mods are able to do that.

I never once used my personal opinion. What I posted is my professional opinion of what I see by 2 members who hate each other, but are so attracted to each other they cannot stay away from each others posts. That is a professional opinion, not my personal opinion.

All you have to do is read the posts without a biased mind and you can understand what is going on. It is really that simple.

The OP posted one post on this thread, so what are you talking about? There is no favortism, I do not know either party involved.

by Bob McKown on 21 April 2011 - 19:04

 You are a Mod?

In your educated opinion was this thread started to be abrasive?

If not did it get that way quickly?

Once it did and you warned and it hasent changed should you as a Mod put a end to it?
