Sticky Note in the Car and RV (obvious place) that you have 2 dogs.  This is not just for security, but if there is an emergency (God forbid), emergency personel know there are dogs to take care of too.

Ways to make sure you always have 150% control of your dogs.  People in RV and Campsites have a tendency to let children and their dogs run loose and in and out of other people's campsites.

I always include something for diarrhea. had a dog pick up a nasty bug at an event 400 miles from home. nothing spoils a trip like a dog with the squirts.

LOL, that's alright, CLC. I'd love to read your blog though. :)

Good advice from ILMD.... ever drive 40 miles with a doggy explosions going on in the back half of the SUV? Thank God she was crated...

Do any of you use the Solar powered Phone chargers. I have started carring one with me when I ride, Just in case.

Being out several miles from anyone in the back country alone just never know.

Hi Everyone !

Thanks for the great suggestions :)

Laura.....We always carry a small tool bag in the nose of the trailer that includes needle nose pliers. We have used something out of that tool bag every time we've taken the fifth wheel out. Seems like there's always something that needs tweaking or fixing....lol

Fawnda....We have a sign (got it at camping world) designed for notifying the public about pets in the trailer, that stays in the window. However, most places do not allow you to leave pets unattended so we take the dogs with us everywhere we go.

ILMD.....What can you give a dog for diarrhea?

Vk4gsd.....That's a given....also include extra memory cards...and take lap top to download pictures :)

Western Rider.....I had a friend that had a solar powered phone charger from REI. However, she never used it because chances are if you are remote, your not going to have cell reception anyway. FWI......You are better off taking a ham radio and knowing the repeaters in the area. You have a much higher chance of contacting someone in case of emergency.

Canned pumpkin is great for treating diarrhea.

The more remote the better for our vacations so we carry a SPOT satellite tracker in case of emergency.  https://www.findmespot.com/en/index.php?cid=101

Also as far as a dog having the squirts;  Amphacillian;  Amoxicillan both can work and at least get you home;  for water, food, eating garbage, etc. etc....  Sorry about Sp.  Ampicillan   No. not quite, but what the hey.  Spell ck doesn't work on this dam thing.  Sorry  Nan
