...our limited minds could never understand them.

Try opening your mind and maybe you'd understand a bit more.

Limited mind, sinful nature, damned from birth, etc., etc., etc.

Can you not see that once you are convinced that you are evil, it deprives you of your humanity?  It causes hatred, it causes division, it causes everything that is bad for humanity and it ushers violence.

It's called extremism. Excellent post, Travels.

Hund~ You are correctand I don't know if that child is a Christian, a Muslim or otherwise, but it doesn't change the content of my post.

Vk ~ I know you understand the meaning of the quote ( because you have a big brain :)) ,,,)  but I will do as you request anyway ,,,,

“The almighty power, unsearchable wisdom, and infinite goodness of God so far manifest themselves in his providence, that it extendeth itself even to the first fall, and all other sins of angels and men; ~~. Nothing is outside the will/ providence  of God. Not the fall of Adam or that of angels ( satan ) ,,,,or men,,,

and that not by a bare permission, but such as hath joined with it a most wise and powerful bounding, and otherwise ordering, and governing of them, in a manifold dispensation, to his own holy ends; ~~~~~ Not only is nothing outside the will and providence of God, but ( and this is where it gets tough ) all that occurs is ordained and consistent with that which brings about His sovereign will.

yet so, as the sinfulness thereof proceedeth only from the creature, and not from God, who, being most holy and righteous, neither is nor can be the author or approver of sin.”~~~~Although the above is true, and ridiculously difficult to accept, it by no means calls Gods goodness into account.  Or changes the fact that He is perfectly holy, and wholly just,  in all that comes to pass in heaven and on earth.

Vk ~~ I do try to refrain from videos and copy/ paste material as I believe in communicating in my own tongue regardless of it's in adequacy most of the time lol, but there are so many things I desire to quote and this is one. This is in reference to our inability as finite creatures to reason/ rationalize/ the truths of Gods character,,,,

“It is any wonder that such immense splendour should blunt the acuteness of our mind? Our physical eyes are not enough to sustain a contemplation of the sun. Is our spiritual insight greater than our natural powers, or the majesty of God inferior to the glory of the sun? Is it becoming in us, then, not to be too inquisitive....” John  Calvin ,,,,

That is very astute, Travels.  Sort of goes to explaining religions role in so many wars and conflicts, too, as

well as inter-personal relationships.

Not astute Imo, but consistent with a view point that hates the idea of being told you aren't perfect just the way you are ,,,The cause of all the hatred, division, and violence comes from people seeking to establish that perfection at the expense of others .
